Hi, Been having trouble with the standard plastic rear suspension arms on my Hpi Vorza flux where the outer pin keeps prizing itself out of the rear suspension arm as it keeps flexing when landing on the ground. I have put a tie wrap around the two arms to stop it from spreading to keep the pin in place for now but looks grim. Been looking for Alloy suspension arms but cant find any to purchase (uk)..any ideas where, or how to strengthen the original standard arms. Thanks

What size solder 100g?? Also I have a 100watt soldering iron with pointed tip but it does job. Is 100watt to powerfull to much heat?

Thanks, My new vorza had XT90 so gunna convert to them I think. Ive soldered the deans ok recently but didnt use Flux, Should I use flux as I have some now to make better solder joint.

Hi, I have a vorza flux running standard electrics with 2 x 3200 Nvision 45c 3s lipo Batteries and it keeps melting the deans. I can run the vorza for say 10 mins or so before it starts to get really hot. I keep bringing it to a stop to cool it down. But it caught me out the other day and had melted the battery wires off one deans connector and cant disconnect the other deans as probably melted internally. Im thinking the batteries cant take the load! or any thoughts here please! Im running 25/44 gearing, i believe stock is 15/48. could this be the cause? Thanks

Hi, would a front end gearbox diff go onto the rear end on FTX vantage (brushless), are they the same if you turn them around? I have a spare front gearbox diff but my rear one has collapsed. Thanks

Ok thanks. Ive fitted them and the back ones seem fine the grub screw holds them in place, where as the front ones just drop through so think need drilling. Im not sure what size the pins are in diameter, if thats what your asking. I would imagine there 2mm so a 2.5mm drill bit if so yeah?

Ok so I got them hub extenders from China..link below. They fit fine but the pin hole in new hub is slighty smaller with and you get new smaller pins. Now the pins sit in but the grub screw doesnt hold it in place but the pin doesnt drop out. What other way is there to secure the pin. I thought about using silicon on the pin then slide it threw to secure it when it dries. Or to drill the hole slightly bigger (but has to be exact) to take the original Vorza pin. Hi, im not to bad with a soldering iron but I want advise whats best Solder to use and if to use Flux and if so which type of flux? Im soldering deans connectors to 8/10/12awg wire Lipos and ESC's. Its for my HPi Vorza. Thanks to all that reply with any advise.

I have a Vorza with no esc as its gone faulty. The motor is a Tork brushless 2200 hpi racing (thats what it says on back of motor. Which ESC can I put on this running 6s? Well I tried firing it up and theres plenty in the battery but the esc wont power up at all now. I could connect to it using castle usb link and updated firmware etc but I think its dead! :-(

Great thanks for that ill try this tonight if the esc powers up. If it doesnt then looks like esc goosed. :-( but it did fire up for a bit when I got it home like i mentioned. Does it beep to what battery your using, say using a 3s should get 3 beeps 4s 4 beeps etc.. is that how it works?

Yes steering servo ok ESC is Mamba Monster 1/8 Castle Not sure on 6 beeps as yet How do you recalibrate it...sorry just learning. Thanks

I bought a second hand vorza with seller saying esc doesnt work, It came with a Tunigy 6s lipo 5000mah battery which he said works fine. I got home and thought id just try connecting it up and see if it works and I heared the beeps you get and it fired up and worked all fine for about 60secs then totally stopped. At this point I didnt know if it was the battery as had no charge lead with xt90 connector so when I got one I plugged it into charger and took only 20 mins to say fully charged..mmmm. Seems battery is ok then. Is there a way of testing the esc, I have a castle link usb connector, would updating the software to esc make any difference or can I do anything with the castle link software to my laptop to test the ESC?
