Guys what kind motor and esc you used for drifting? And if i take it off my front driveshafts from 4wd and make just rwd? Good or bad????

Hello guys, week ago i buy Hpi rs4 sport3 bmw e30 can somebody give me advises about tyres, diff's, suspension??? This first my rc car. And aswell i using ni-mh battery, but car sometime silly start drifting. Should i change to lipo battery? Because i using same battery's on my airsoft guns. And on the gun i feel big performance with lipo battery, so maybe and on the rc cars same??? sorry for my english language :/
