  1. what about the issue with threading? and isn't ultra hot not advisable for 20% fuel?
  2. hey, i need a new glow plug but not sure which ones, any reccomendations? (specs: 1/8th scale, mac .21 turbo engine, 20% hpi nitromethane)
  3. just tried it again and learnt it happens when it gets to temperature
  4. I can see very small bubbles, but not too big, im using HPI 20%, i have no idea as the air filter is plastic tied and impossible to get to (its an RTR kit), i have the needles set to the recommended setting, the cooling head is firm and i think my brake set is okay, the accelerator is a little loose (think its meant to be like that).
  5. hey guys, i've tried to start the break - in process with my new .21 3 port hyper engine. i was there for 2 hours and only got half way through the first tank. when i started it up, it revved a little and then backed down a little. all of a sudden it just started uncontrollably accellerating out of no where. it then suddenly stalled. is this normal (was outside in 8 degree C weather), and im worried that im damaging the engine. thx Jar

  7. hey all, i have received my .21 3 port nitro hyper 7 tq2. there was a slip explaining how you should follow the break in process described in the instruction manual, but upon looking in said manual, it only showed how to build the buggy, with no mention of how to, or any tips, break in the engine. are there any official tips online by hobao (if so, please link me to it! ), or is it taken that you can break in the engine like any other, thanks Jar
  8. nice, thanks, hoping to pick it up after the new year for a deal (I hope !) thanks
  9. wow, thanks! not sure when ill be able to go to the track near me but im sure ill have a look!
  10. If you where a beginner (like me), what buggy would you choose for entry level racing? upgradability if possible =)
  11. hey all, i've mad the choice to go for a hyper 7 to get into the world of nitro rc. the problem is there are 2 versions that i can find at this moment, the tq2 .28 model or the tq2 .21 savox. (link below) and i have no idea what the difference is between them. is the .28 version worth the extra £20? Links: .28 version:http://www.wheelspinmodels.co.uk/i/264621/ .21 version:http://www.wheelspinmodels.co.uk/i/264622/
  12. Ooooooh, okay! clears that up (pro starter kit (Modelsport), whats the difference between the 2, i hear the .21 is more fuel efficient
  13. oh and stupid question, what are Receiver hump packs?
  14. is the hyper7 tq2 good? is it relarively durable?
