The new ones are either 122mm or 123mm, they are the exact same ones that modelsport sell and eBay have them as well. It if all the ones I've ordered and tried these ones have been the longest and fitted the best, I would recommend if anyone that needs them for there car order them from either hpi, modelsport or ebay, £30 per pair but worth the money.

Sound was thinking on putting in the 4300nihm that's used for the Baja, would that one be ok to use, I know it's a 6v, it's just a little bigger than the 1600 one.

Hi everyone sorry it's took me ages to reply back to this post, I've had murders trying G to get the correct dogbones/cvd's for my car. In the end I contacted hpi to let them know the issue I was having and they said that they haven't heard nothing before like what I told them, but the kind lady at hpi customer services sent me a brand new pair of hpi cvd driveshafts for my car and didn't even charge me for them. They do fit a lot better than previous ones I ordered so now I'm back to bashing my car again from tomorrow. Here's another quick question for everybody, in the hpi bullet cars the receiver battery pack is only 1600 Nimh, but what's the strongest battery that I can use in the car to get better response? Cheers all.

Having a complete nightmare, I received the new dogbones this morning, perfect length and everything else, but th ball joints at either end 0.1mm to big so they won't fit into the diff cup, this is really stressing me out now. Does anybody know where I can buy 2 x 92mm dogbones end to end. 1mm pin to pin. And 0.5mm ball joint end to end, if anyone does plz let me know asap. Thanks

Hi Craig, I've ordered a set of 2 from of eBay, they are 84mm pin to pin and, 92mm need to end, they are from a company called hobbyspare in Australia, because of the length 92mm they should fit perfectly, ive got cvd's in the rear but they just wouldn't fit in the front and kept falling out, once I've received these new ones I will update and let people know ow how they are.

Sorry for the long wait in my answering the question on wether I've got my dogbones sorted, we'll them 97mm dogbones was well to long and to thick, couldn't even fit them into the diff cups or the axels, so I've found a set of 92mm dogbones in Australia, which should be here in a few days, but these ones look and sound as though they will fit snugly, with about 1-2mm either side for play. But as soon as they come and I get them fitted I will update. But if these ones are no good I will have to pay more money to get the cvd driveshafts from modelsport UK.

Hi well I did receive the dogbones today but they are the same size as the stock ones, well , they are 3.5" which is 89.9mm so i know they are not going to fit, so yet again I've just had to order a different set from another buyer which are 97mm so hopefully they should fit, they will be here in about a week so will update more then. Sorry for the wait people but soon it will be sorted, then I can start bashing my car again, good times.

No nine as yet still waiting for the dogbones to get delivered, I did order some of the o-rings as the diff cups didn't have any or the rear cups didn't either, but yh I'm going to need the longer ones, I messaged hpi as well explains the issue I was having and they said the longer dogbones should be fine as long as I've got a bit of movement left and right, it should be all good. As soon as the new ones come through I will update and post on here and let you know.

Hi here's just a quick question for all rc racers, I'm trying to find somewhere that sells body shells for this specific truck, I don't want any of the stock ones. I'm after something that's completely different, so if anybody has got any links to sites that sells them plz, plz message them to me I would be very grateful, thanks everyone.

The wheel hex size on the hpi bullets are 14mm standard not 12mm

Hopefully the longer driveshafts will do the job, I hate not being able to take my bullet out and do some bashing with it.

Well I can try them when they get delivered as have to wait for the longer dogbones to turn up yet anyway so we'll see but I'll keep informed on here.

Ok just ordered these from ebay to attach onto the cups and then tighten them up with the grub screws, what do you think, cos I think it will extend the original ones abit.
