Rang mtronics for advice on how to get the esc on my new second hand car yesterday. Despite the facts hey stopped making that model at least ten years previously they offered to look at it and give me credit against a new one although in the end it started working so wasn't needed. not sure Apple will be looking at giving me credit on the iPhone 20 in a decades time against my battered and abused iPhone 4! 38

My two TL01. the scooby is my original body shell on an eBay purchase that's ball raced throughout and has aftermarket shocks and came with four sets of wheels and tyres. the C4 is my original TL01 with an eBay purchase preprinted shell. Obviously no licensing as its sponsored by tatol and driven by Sebastian loed! Both running mtroniks esc and basic 380 motors. I'll upgrade the motors but want them to remain as a pair so I can race them with a friend. currently looking for somewhere to create a bit of a rally cross stage. cheers 38

Newly question but any top tips for the best way to drill body post holes on a new lean shell, aside from centrally symmetrical etc. do I use a small drill and keep enlarging or a to rod or something similar? chees 38

Probably a silly newbie question but my old tl01 has a mechanical speed controller with a servo, is it simply a case of unplugging and removing the msc and servo and replacing them with a suitable esc? At present it's running a 380 motor which i will be replacing with some form of brushed 540 (it's for men on lay with my kids so doesn't need race pace). cheers 38

Hi, getting into RC via my child. Resurrecting my 15 year old Tamils tl01 and updating a Tampa dt02 (just changing bearings, awaiting shocks). would like to do some informal buggy,racing and maybe some rallying. 38
