Not sure if this is allowed here but its the only regional based forum topic thing i ve found but hoping to find someone in the hartlepool area for kinda help and guidance in some of the cars i have as im a complete novice and wondering if theres any decent areas of the town were you can go to utilise my cars without getting people bitchin on about the noise and what not im in the central estate area. drop me a message if there is anyone about would be much appreciated

Came across a cen colossus for sale the other day or so i think or its a a cen gst 7.7 or cen genesis lol checked the manual site and various others and most have a different name for it so any way i happened upon this lil gem few days ago came with lol a 2 can rc handset the owner said he couldent get it to run properly kept goignbackwards and what not so he gave up. wasnt till i got home i finally realised why he was having trouble think his main issue was his 2 chan handset as it needs a 3 chan. but my eyes lit up like a christmas tree once is started looking it over only to discover it had reverse oh my would upload a pic but for some reason it keeps saying i can only upload 1024kb when the pic is only 754kb makes no sense. any how did a bit of cleaning on it but gonna invest in some new fuel piping and a fuel tank seal and lid. Cant wait to see it up and running. as im a complete novice at anything nitro related im taking it to a shop to get setup properly and tuned as i still havnt grasped the concept of tuning just dont understand how i used to tune the engine on my helicopter years ago but for the life of me cant seem to do it on rc cars oh can anyone tell me why my damned pics wont upload even though they are smaller than the stated limit cheers

Sorry for the delayed response dont have the car with me atm its the other side of the town but it does bare a striking resemblance to the one i have just doesnt have the fuel tank or engine servos on it atm.

It's another rc car I got the other day few bits missing from it but was hoping to find parts list or something everything I do find is in German or something. Was gonna upload a pic but the file is to big any info or what not would be awesome

Hi i was wondering if its actually possible to buy nitro car kits so i can build it myself instead of a pre built machine i know nothing about seems everywhere i look its all pre built machines which kinda takes the fun out of it in a way. any feed back would be awesome

Thanks for the response guys much appreciated been back and retried today i ve had everything off the engine tank carb pipes and cleaned everything replaced pipes with new flushed the tank the rubber seal was fine then reinstalled everything. had a few attempts at redoing the settings but still no joy only just read your posts so wont get a chance to test out your advice again till weekend but gonna cram as much info into me before then so i got plenty of things to try. seems rc cars are 99% repair and maintenance 1% play time lol was easier tuning my motor bike than these infernal machines

Hi im derek So the other day my uncle dropped loads of rc gear at my dads the other day some junk and some just needing tlc so i figured hell why not and set about assisting my dad repairing / rebuilding some of the cars. trucks that came out way. Its been along time time since i was around rc equipment especially nitro cars quite a few problems i ve been having with the himoto on road what ever it is when trying to tune the engine. I ve read up extensivly over the last few days on how to factory reset and tune the engine but to no avail its either cutting out not starting or trying to shoot of down the street. just cant seem to get the settings right. the engine im running is a sh 18
