Hey, I've just bought an Ecx circuit and have ran it a couple of times in car parks etc, it seem to have picked up small stores in the tyres and rattle! The tyres are glued to the rims. Is there any way to remove the stones.? . I thought that wouldn't happen considering they're glued on. Yes I understand this may not be the worst thing to happen but it annoys me! Haha cheers Rob

Well, I'm actually got money together for an HPI e firestorm flux, but want a 1/18 after seeing the pit bull, I'll got to around £80 for the Maverick or what ever I may get. I've seen the Mastadon for around £83 posted in the uk.

Hey folks, I'm looking into buying an 1/18 scale truck just for a bit of fun really. I'm looking at the Himoto Masterdon which is basically the same as the Maverick ion but the Mastadon comes brushless out the box. Has anyone got any experience with one? They look pretty good on YouTube videos I've seen and reviews I've read on the net but thought I'd throw the question out here. Since I'm pretty new to RC maybe you could recommend a good 1/18 scale truck to me. Cheers Rob

What is needed to upgrade the normal one. Obviously the brushless motor, a new esc too? I don't think I'd buy 2nd hand if I'm honest.

Is the mah, the length of run time, what do 2cell go up to?

Could I run more than 3000mah or is that pushing it? I understand that 2cell lipo's 7.4 volt is that correct, the lipo chargers, I find that bit scary at the min! Haha

Thank you for the replies! I've been looking at the firestorm flux, is it worth the extra as I said I'd be upgrading the normal one in the future, this will probably cost more in the long run? So do I go for the flux and just go steady with the throttle!?

Thanks for that, I've actually heard they strip the rear gears quite easily. If I'm honest, I'll think I'll go with the firestorm, and just upgrade gradually, I have a friend who may help me with the fiddly bits in exchange for a beer or two. I take it the firestorm will run ok on short grass? I may upgrade to a lipo straight away too. Cheers

Hey folks, this is my first post and I'm after some advice. I looking into buying a MT or truggy, I'd like to stay electric, I'm new to RC but want to try it out! I'm looking at either the HPI e firestorm or jumpshot, I live quite rural and the nearest hobby shop deals with HPI. I Had looked at the Traxxas stampeded too online but is it safe enough to buy online should anything go wrong with the truck? The other thing I'd like would to start with brushed and then upgrade the same truck to brushless/ Lipo as my knowledge and skill get better! It would need to be quite reliable too as I have a small disability to my left side and have limited motor movement in my left hand so working on it will be hard but I don't want this to stop me getting into this awesome hobby! Any help and advice would be great. Thanks Rob i have a ve a cheapo Foxx S911 and love it but want to upgrade soon.
