  3. Just a quick heads up as of 2.3.18 hobbywing.com have hobbywing Quicrun 1080 esc 's down to £25 to your door from the eu warehouse bit of a deal, thought I'd try one. If it goes in to the trx or spares box?.
  4. My xl-5hv can act up some times, when I switch it on I get servo noise but nothing else it'll do this a couple of times then come on as it should the third time. Hmm
  5. Thats cool, Ive just bought the servo with a metal horn this morning,. I'll see how I get on. Could you tell much difference between the two servos? Cheers
  6. Sorry, just a quick question, has anyone changed the steering servo without using an external Bec? I'm looking at installing a power HD 20kg servo.

  8. Hey, quick question really, why don't Losi etc offer electric options instead of just engines. I've seen conversions but why can't you just buy electric out if the box? Cheers Rob
  9. Hey, I'm looking into an 1/24 FTX ibex for a bit of indoor laughs. Has anyone got one, and are they worth buying? I just want to see if anyone has opinions on them before I purchase one. Cheers Rob
  10. Sounds cool, it gets rather expensive doesn't it! I've got brass portal,covers to go on mine along with alu rear bumper and mud flaps oh and door handles.
  11. I love my 110, still standard electric wise but plenty of other mods, warn winch, rc4wd weller wheels and rc4wd tyres etc.
  12. Yup, I'm still using the standard servo, working fine at the min, had a few hick ups with the esc not switching on first time, takes 3 times in some cases.
  13. I see they've gone up to £500, I got mine back in June for £469, I guess popularity has made Traxxas up the price? Oh, I've got brass portal covers for mine next.

  15. Ive had mine since June 17th and I love it, no bother with it yet either, steering servo is a tad weak but still works. Got a few mods fitted inc rc4wd arb style bumper and warn winch, got a chequer plate kit to go on then order wheels and tyres.

  18. Hey, I'm just wondering if anyone owns or has had experience with the BSD Rock crawler? I'm thinking about getting one just to play with in the back garden and don't really want to spend too much. thanks
