  1. Awesome set up! I've just bought the trx4 Land Rover. I'm a huge full scale Land Rover fan too, it's perfect!
  2. So I should get away with the one I linked, I watched a YouTube vid and that guy was using an 800mah. I made the mistake of buying a 1s so that's sat here not getting used! Oops.
  3. Hey, I'm looking for a battery to power my rc4wd Warn winch. I'm looking at a small 1000mah 2s 7.4v battery by Turnigy it's 20c. Here is the eBay link to it, it's jst but I'm going to get a jst to tamiya connector. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/222278102102 can an someone please let me know if it'll work? Thank you. Rob
  4. Hey, I'm on the look out for a set of RC4wd wagon wheels, the White 8 spokes in 1.9 in good condition. If you have some you'd sell please let me know. Many thanks Rob
  5. Thanks all for the replies, I did want rc4wd 8 spokes but the wheel axle on the trx4 tapers from 6mm to 4mm so the rc4wd wheels would need to be drilled out so they fit 100% and I don't fancy doing that as if the holes are slightly off they'd wobble!
  6. Hey, I'm looking for some Gmade wheels for my Traxxas defender as I believe they clear the portals well. However I can't seem to find the wheels I want in the uk, they're the ar02. If anyone knows of any shops selling them please let me know. Modelsport have none in stopcock. Cheers Rob
  7. Does anyone know any official release dates for over here, I've been told 25th of June just wondering if it could be sooner?
  8. Ive got mine on order, can't wait! Massive Landy fan here!
  9. I've actually put a deposit down on one, it'll do me for a bit of fun, I'm not a serious RCer, I just like to play around really.
  10. Well I'm now thinking about the traxxas Landy, however I'm not a massive fan of traxxas, money grabbing A holes in my opinion. I dunno see what the reviews say when it's out.
  11. Thank you fir the reply, I've seen them don't to £32 but are listed exactly the same as one in the link and claims to be coming from the uk too? If I do get a crawler it'll either be an FTX or ECX, will it fut both do you know? Cheers again.
  12. Hey, I'm looking at maybe buying a crawler, however I want to put a 90 shell on it. Rc4wd ones seem very steep in price. I've seen these kit 90 shells from China on eBay. I'm just wondering if anyone has bought one of them and if they're any good. I've been around full size landys since I was knee high to a grasshopper and want an RC one too! Cheers Rob heres the link. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/192129907211
  13. First run today, got 17mm axle conversion done and I honestly think the truggy is awesome!
  14. Is there any alternatives? Maybe I'll just wait a bit before doing anything.
  15. Thank you for the replies. I do tend to run on Tarmac- well tennis courts sometimes so it may not be the best idea to go for the badlands, the others I was looking at were the trenchers but I guess it'll be the same for them, wear down quickly on Tarmac? I've got the 17mm conversion ready and waiting to be fitted.
  16. Hey, I'd really like to run my Hpi truggy on proline badlands and desperado wheels however I'm keen on finding out how good they actually are for the money. Can anyone out there who has ran or is running a proline setup tell me if it's honestly worth it, how long to tyres last etc. For me, it's a lot to spend on RC wheels and tyres but if they last a long time it might be worth it? Cheers Rob
  17. Nah, it's all standard at the min, Hpi trophy flux
  18. Hey, here's the link to the ones I like. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/311723257668 edit, link won't work but if you look up Goolrc 810006 that might bring them up.
  19. Hey, I'm looking at some Goolrc wheels and tyres for my 1/8 truggy, are they any good front and rear set for just over £20, yes I know they say you get what you pay for but I'm not paying £90 for a set of prolines! Are Goolrc an OK brand? Cheers Rob
  20. I got one bought, not actually ran it yet but have some some small upgrades including bearings in the steering instead of the nasty bushes, I've got the 17mm wheel kit to go on to it and I've put a savox servo into it too.
  21. Cool, thank you. It'll not harm the batteries though?
  22. Thanks for the replies, I normally set my alarm to 3.4 just to stay on the safe side. Another question slightly off topic. My batteries are 5000mah, and my charger is capable of up to 10 amp. Is it safe to storage charge my batteries at the 1c rating? So basically the same as I would do for the normal balance charge if not what would be safe 2.5 so half the capacity of the battery? Thanks again Rob oh, sorry for the late reply, it seems for all I have it set to email me when I get replies it doesn't email me?
  23. Yeah, the esc has an LVC, however I just wat that extra bit of protection. I have one brand new alarm sat here, I'll just get another.
