  1. @big gazYes please, a full set. It is a Axial SCX10 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon RTR stock 315mm wheel base, so should I measure the plastic ones that are on it and the 2 spare in the parts bag for front 4 link set up. Also the steering links are different from upgrade kits I've seen online so I assume i measure the same way.
  2. Hi @big gaz Many Many Thanks for the offer. It would be really helpful to me if you could. I was thinking of trying to make some myself but am a bit nervous about it because I have never done anything like that before. I feel confident enough to fit them as I've watched loads of youtube videos. Could you quote me a price inc post as I live near Southampton. It's true what they say that the RC world is a great community and people are very helpful. Thanks again, and to @russruss123 as well
  3. Thanks russruss123, I don't know how I missed these. I may try them on the back and measure the front to see if they are ok for that too. Although I saw some youtube videos on how to make your own today, which is tempting from a budget point of view. Thanks again, I appreciate it.
  4. Hi, hopefully someone can help me. I have a stock Axial SCX10 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon RTR 1/10 and I want to upgrade the suspension links to aluminium. Four link to both ends so the drive shaft doesn't rub.. I have spent hours trawling the net looking and found loads of options in Asia and U.S.A, but none in the U.K. Most of the Asian ones don't list the length so I'm dubious about ordering from them and the U.S.A carriage charges are quite steep. Can anyone point me in the right direction ? Many Thanks
  5. Hi, Firstly please excuse my ignorance, but I am totally new to RC and have just bought a stock RTR Tamco Recon Brushed Motor Buggy which came with a used excel xtraIdry 4000mah 7.2v nimh battery and an Airsoft smart charger. It is lasting about 15-20 minutes on varied use, some fast acceleration and some slowish crawling in woodland. I have searched the net for info but get either dead links or do not understand all the technical info I am reading. What I would like to know is:- is there a lot of difference in run time using a 4000mah 7.2v nimh compared to, say a 3300mah7.2v nimh battery. I have seen a couple of 3300 twin pack deals that only cost a little more than 1x 4000mah. I know that Lipo is the best way to go but I have limited funds and only intend to use the Buggy a few times a month when my Grandson visits and it is intended "Only4Fun" Thanks for any replies.
  6. Hi,I am 52 yrs old and totally new to RC and have just bought myself a second hand Tamco Recon. I ended up with this because I bought a New Bright Dodge Hemi Monster Truck for my Grandson for £8. He is only 2 years old, but I thought it would be good for him in a year or so. Of course I had to have a play and soon realised it would be a great starter toy for him, but I really enjoyed it too, so decided to get something for myself so we could go out together. I spent some time looking at various different kinds of cars, buggys and truggys, and as my house backs on to woodland decided a Buggy was for me, and found the RTR TAMCO Recon, used twice, (or FS Marauder or Reely Dune Fighter) on "a well known auction site" and got it for £50, which included an Xcelplus XtraIDry 4000mah nimh battery and a Bulldog airsoft smart charger, which I thought was a pretty good deal. I didn't want brushless as I am a complete novice, and old, and it really is Only4Fun I have been trawling through the net looking for advice etc, only to end up with dead links or totally confused with technical advice I can't understand, so decided to join an RC Forum. So here I am ! entering the new world of RC.
