    Thank for that.

    What shock oil?

Thanks for that, it is an Hpi Bullet Flux
  3. Hi I am new to all this so please forgive me if I am asking stupid questions! I have rebuilt the shock towers, hubs etc with aluminium parts as the plastic kept breaking and I want to replace the oil in the shocks as it is the standard stuff from new. What grade should I use? I run mainly on grass. Also I keep shearing my dogbones on landing. I was told in the general forum that my slipper clutch may need adjusting. How tightly do I set it? I am sure these are the first of many questions I will need help with,so thank you in advance. Ged

I'll get it boxes up and hopefully catch the post office before it shuts tomorrow.

      Thanks

  5. Thank you,mi haven't touched the clutch from new so I will try that. Thanks Ged
  6. No on grass but I have now been told it may be to do with the skipper clutch.
  7. Hi I am new to rc and bought the Hpi Bullet Flux. I have got to grips with running it on the flat (after a good few bashes and plenty of replacement parts!) but I can't seem to jump without shearing the dogbones. Am I doing something wrong or is it an inherent problem? I have read about cv shafts but they are expensive and if they shear as often as the others it isn't an option. i would appreciate any advice, thanks. Ged
  8. Yeah that is only fair. Just let me know and I will pay you asap.
  9. Hi dont know if you still have this but if you do I will have it. I will take you up on your offer to box and I will sort courier. Thanks Ged [email protected]
  10. Hi Skynard sorry I think I told you to use 6 mm o rings, I made a mistake you need 2.8 mm (P3). They are located inside the hub where the dogbone is seated at both ends. I hope you hadn't bought the the others yet! Ged

    Bullet shocks

Hi does anybody know if there is an upgrade for the plastic joint on the bottom of the shocks is available, and where from? Hpi have them as part of a bundled package when all I need is that single piece. Ged
  12. Any of the model shop websites or if you have a god hardware shop nearby they will probably stock them too. They are 6mm dia. I bought some from Amazon for about £3 posted.
  13. Hi I bought one last week too and had the same problem. I found replacing the 6 mm O rings in the seat of thehub did the trick. Replaced them and haven't had a problem since ran through ten batteries and still going. Ged
