  1. What sort of money would buy it please?
  2. Good evening, I'm very interested in buying my first proper Rc car and would appreciate some advice and help. As the title indicates I use a wheelchair due to a rare neurological condition. This condition affects my legs & I have limited dexterity in my hands. Based on these factors I was wondering could you guys shortlist or recommend cars that may suit my needs.? I will try and outline what I'm searching for;; Budget -£500-£600 I will be using the car / truck on short grass 90% of the time. I would like something which is quite durable and take a bashing, I'm unsure between petrol or electric however I assume electric would be easier to live with. I will usually have friends with me, so size and weight shouldn't be an issue. Finally I would like a model that doesn't wheely all the time and something my daughter age 10 could enjoy driving. I like the look of the arrma range, however as I'm only researching and trying to learn a bit I'm completely open to all suggestions. I really look forward to hearing from you in advance..... Thanks Tony
  3. Yes they are amazing!! Would be afraid I wouldn't have enough experience to maintain it yet!
  4. looking at all the comments what is the most bulletproof rc car/truck you guys have ever used or seen for bashing if money was no object?
  5. Hi Guys, Below is a shortlist of the sct cars i have been considering can you please give me your opinions on which ones would be the best truck for bashing and that would have the best parts back up for UK customers. If there is any other sct trucks i have overlooked please feel free to add to my shortlist. Thanks for your time. Traxxas Slash 4x4 Ultimate TSM Losi TEN-SCTE Team Associated ProSC 4x4 HPI Blitz Flux Maverick TimberWolf SCT Helion Select Four 10SC
  6. Thanks Guys all that makes sense! I should probably have told what I envisage using the for. I really like the look and the durability of the sct I have been doing lots of research and watching videos, I will never be racing the car. I would like a truck which will take a lot of abuse and which is 4x4, I would also like the truck to be upgradable and finally as I'm based in Northern Ireland I would want to have a company who can send be spare parts etc when I require them! I was very keen on the losi however quite a few people regard it as more of a track car rather than a bashing truck. Could you please give me some further advice on suitable trucks which will cover most of the points raised above. Cheers for taking the time to assist me so far!!!!
  7. Hi guys have been researching different models and have even considered a rc bike! I was wondering could you help me with my final decision on a purchase? I had been so close to buying a traxxas slash 4x4 premium which would have cost me around the £600 mark. I am now really interested in the Xmaxx which isn't going to be a lot more expensive. What is your opinion on both vehicles and in particular the Xmaxx as I have read lots of reviews saying it is the best bashing rc vehicle ever made!! I would really appreciate a little help as it is a large financial investment and want to make sure I'm doing the right thing in going for either one of these trucks with a strong preference now to the Xmaxx.. Thanks.
  8. Thanks Jb will look into that as for the sr4/5 has anyone any opinions on this bike? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Thanks so far for all the great advice! I was considering going for the sr 4 or 5 as I live in Northern Ireland it looks to have a great spares back up and also gets great reviews, would this bike meet my needs etc?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Hi guys have just joined up so firstly hello! I'm interested in purchasing an rc electric bike and was wondering could you tell me in your experience which model provides the best stability and ease of control? I have recently had surgery on my back so was hoping to get a model which doesn't constantly require picking up after a tumble etc. Also can any of the bikes start from a standstill or do they require the user to steady the bike before takeoff?? Thank you Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
