  1. Si, Looks like your M8 is pretty far from stock! I'm guessing that it has evolved over quite a long time! Thanks for all the info too. Cheers
  2. Thanks again folks. I have one last question, how will the buggy fare on sand? Is the beach just a no no, I know it's not waterproof but wondered if dry sand might be a goer...
  3. I'm looking forward to the weather drying up a bit! Even running the nimh battery is too quick for my house really.
  4. Great, thanks for the pointers. My next job is to figure out which tools, spares, oil etc I will need to pick up. Thanks again for the help!
  5. Hey folks, I have just picked up a mini 8ight (http://www.modelsport.co.uk/losi-mini-8ight-brushless-buggy-red-/rc-car-products) with a charger (http://www.modelsport.co.uk/overlander-rc6-vsp-80watt-7a-output-ac-dc-charger/rc-car-products) and a couple of 2s lipos to use once I am used to bashing about a bit; would anyone be able to recommend whether there is anything I should be checking / tightening before I get going? Or should I be ready to roll? Thanks in advance, I have trawled the forums and picked up loads of useful info already.
