very little 2 tanks bud before i had i gave the filter a good clean dried it (left over night in airing cupboard (sh don't tell the missus) she pulls over good compression but just refuses to start thanks ill give it another try today

i got a yama to mate just a bst to start any clues please sorted running sweat the carb was set too rich and plug faulty replaced and perfect big smile

Hi folks this may of been covered , Ive just gained a Ao yama 26, (please don't groan lol) i know its a chinese clone , i picked it up so cheep its unreal £125 can't knock it i thought its had 2 tanks of fuel through (before i got it ) i just wanted to tell a few people who have not had one as i own one ist thing i noticed (theres a list ) was stupid faults that should of been sorted before it left the drawing board but its chin ease what else do i expect 1)wheels rear wheels as its 2 wheel drive round shafts relying on grubscrews holding main poor grade alloy squaire drive to wheels on shaft these come undone making you think the diff is broken I've cured this simply with a little hole drilled part way in grip now doesn't come undone also locktite not the permanent stuff 2) poor breaks (like none ) disk kit going on this evning £) really frustrating to start sucha pain i thought come back nitro all is forgiven lol 4) any standerd parts upgrade as u break they break quickly if you rough with them (i have found many upgrades available surprised how good for the money they ar to be perfectly honest i am considering modifing it to elec nb this will get longer as i use it 5) problem today had a good running session now running perfect pinion gear fell off um a daft idea to connect shaped shaft but nothing to hold it on think c clip may of come adrift its standard so will get decent quality one I've ordered new carb as the standard one is s not good I've now striped it down and found how the gear hols on shaft threaded in middle stupid me didn't lock tite the screw in end of shaft not trucks fault mine this is now fixed with LOCK TITE not perment stuff note to self CHECK ALL SCREWS ARE TITE 6) to start off with i thought laying a engine on its side with the exhaust at the bottom was daft but as daft as u may thing keeps the centre of gravity low so helping stability 7) I'm looking for a adaptor to get rid of horid plastic wheels to baja hpi alloy wheels 8) stering curcle is abismal as in huge circle needed if there is a way to improve this id be greatful please
