  1. The thing with buying a new car without doing research is not having the nerve to learn everything before going and using it. I did about 2 years old pure research before finally getting mine half a year ago and im very glad i did learn before buying. Just take a couple hours every night watching or researching tuning videos and setups. One guy i cant recommend enough is Nitro RC Nerds on youtube, He has a hyper 7 too. About servos, Dont go cheap. Just go full out best servos you can, Its better buying 2 durable servos which are expensive but last many years than getting 2 for half the price which last serveral runs, Something i learnt very recently.
  2. OS P3/P4 (or the cheaper bullit p3/p4 its the same plug) have worked very well for me and Alpha glow plugs work good too, You can get them from Bolton model mart since you are new i would like to give you this link http://www.rctech.net/forum/onroad-nitro-engine-zone/295490-tuning-bible.html. I probably would have quit the hobby if i didnt find this thread. Tells you everything about breaking in/tuning and engine
  3. I know this is very late but for anyone looking for this information i can answer it, You have to route the fuel line around the front body post and put a band or zip tie around it as seen on Atushi Hara's Evo.
  4. Turbo plugs create better compression since its taped instead of needing a copper washer
  5. With my Hyper .21 engine it wasnt that tight to be honest. Then i got an alpha .21. It was so tight i had to pull the engine out of the car and manually crank it over by hand for an hour. Even when heated to 300 f my starterbox wouldnt crank it over. I also recommend heating the engine before running for the first 6 tanks. I do 3 idle tanks then 6 tanks getting faster and faster each time with a sock around the engine to keep it warm and then i do some bashing until the 12 tank when i tuned it. I am 20 150cc tanks into my engine and i still have pinch.
  6. Do you know of any others that may fit? Im looking for a cab foward style
  7. I need to know if it fits tho, does losi 8ight fit hyper ss?
  8. Anyone know what other bodyshells fit the hyper ss? Like a losi 8ight or something similar looking?
