  1. Just noticed how bent my front bumper is in pic 3 !
  2. What would you suggest as an in between gearing set up? Heres a a few pictures of the new Dusty Motors cover worked a treat today! I think there is a discount code "YouTube" for 5-10% off on check out. The extra few seconds to get batteries in and out more than makes up for a nice clean chassis! Scale shot with can of WD40 for reference. Just imagine it doing a triple back flip.....
  3. I was thinking about cracked wheels earlier and now believe the cracks must be temperature related as mine have no damage and have had lots Of hard landings on grass. I hope you get looked after.
  4. Been out this afternoon on the ramps too many heart in mouth moments to mention... This thing looks amazing on an 8 spin cartwheel I am amazed I didn't break anything. Very nose heavy on the jumps which will be helped if I gear it up I believe ? My Dusty Motors cover arrived today 3 days delivery! Took an hour to install the Velcro but its a perfect fit and no temperature issues after two sets of batteries and car is clean and tidy.
  5. I think I would rather break 4 of the standard diffs than one of these just noticed the price !
  6. Maybe these would be a better bet? I wonder what they are made from ?
  7. Nice one DazP ordered a few bits great prices an postage and an easy website to navigate. wheelspin have diffs and pinioned in stock if you need em sharpish @Ocdcbr
  8. Good info gents it looks like a great platform at that price with a couple of tweeks.
  9. Thanks man appreciate that food for thought I don't like to buy things twice unless I break em
  10. Theres gonna be some great parts available for this early summer. Just a question of waiting and not breaking too much in the meanwhile...
  11. How would you spec the roller and approx costs?
  12. I really like the look of that Kraton for the money
  13. The wheels should not crack in multiple locations. Also could be cold weather making them brittle and then they cracked on impact / cartwheel. I would want replacements in your position.
  14. I think you have driven it hard but even so the wheels should not crack in the way they have.

' Thanks chaps I have placed an order as am getting tired of cleanup and debris everywhere. Despatched within half an hour by Dusty Motors so hope it gets here quick. Castle dual fan installed and have no heat or esc issues thus far including running two sets of 3S 5000 packs flat out in about 30 minutes.

Anyone have an opinion on using these covers on any vehicle ?

Are these any good or will it all just turn a little warm? The chassis design collects dust and debris in numerous locations. http://www.dustymotors.com
  20. Gotta be careful with electric screwdrivers !

You sound like you really need an X-maxx in your life to brighten up your day !
  22. You seem to have a number of issues !
  23. My driving is the root cause .....
  24. I have always thought it was better to trash a £3.00 plastic spur than anything more expensive further down the line. but hey what do I know ?! I have a stock spare on hand and some others for some gearing experiments on route
  25. Bumpers are a weak link on this truck. It's so big and heavy that any front or rear end landing takes out the bumper mounts completely. Hopefully RPM will come out with some quality bumpers and mounts like they did for the erevo.
