  1. Ok ill see what i can do tonight but i just got a brand new cdi from hpi cause of a different problem thats been fixed already.. and now its all back together and this happens... when mine use to be running great.. it sounded like this for like 1 min until it warmed up.. it would like rev high then get choppy and stuff but now no matter how warm it is it wont go away
  2. https://youtu.be/tczQzjMmR0Y i made a video to better explain and show it...seems like somethings restricting it but there isnt and it wont rev high like it should and it doesnt even go fast enough to go into 2nd or 3rd gear
  3. What is the best way to mount a gooro on anything pericularly a savage xl octane where there just isnt room and its so shaky
  4. Does anyone recommend a certain cheap but good brand for waterproof servos i really need 2 new big steering ones Does anyone recommend a certain cheap but good brand for waterproof servos i really need 2 new big steering ones
  5. Nope i didnt mess with anything..just said a few choice words and it fired right up
  6. I have the best news ever.. i got home went down and looked at her and said alright you ******* here we go. I primed it and pulled the starter a couple times and it started to start so i took it outside and it ran like a champ all night long!!! Some carb tuning of course but other than that i didnt check or take anything apart..i think its pretty lean on the low needle.. about 3/4 turn and the idle is still all the way in but back either of those out and itll stall in a few seconds so idk but it was a blast ..i also think the high is a little lean..about 1 1/8 turn back but tonight she ran and ran good..took it to a soccer field and it was great
  7. I specifically asked ddm about my motor and what kit and they said this is it..and when i was taking the old head off it looked about the same big spark gap...and the owner before me said he drove it in a rock quarry and it looks like stomes have grinded up on the magnet wheel maybe this is part problem
  8. And i was talking about polishing the carb so the gaskits would be airtight so i could close out that potential problem.. as for the spark gap yea ill get it to be .012 when i get home later.. but in the vid i wasnt even fully compressed on the credit card i had so thats as far as it's gonna get unless i notch out the slots on the coil a little more but i dont want to mess any magnetic stuff up i dont know about that if grinding it would make a difference..and the gasket im using for the jug is just the one that came from ddm bore kit..and the carb gaskits are just regular paper ones
  9. Oh mm lol yea should of and i am in the states lol
  10. You realise .3 is over 1/4 of a inch..doesnt seem right to me and i dont have any card. i bought this used but tell me proper gap in thousands and i will make it i have calipers im a machinist i can make it right and ok ill pull it off but i made everything as tight as i could..what if i polished the surface where the gaskets touch the carb..the carb is just rough casting
  11. Heres a vid i got of it running https://youtu.be/XDI7rofl3rg
  12. Here's the coil question https://youtu.be/MVwvQoQfFuI
  13. And almighty15 im confused on why you would want a wt-990 if its so hard to start (witch it is) whats wrong with the other carbs
  14. Ok ill see if i can get that running tonight and check for air gap and ill take a vid later of my coil problem..i think thatll best show what im trying to explain cause i know how to set it u just cant..ill show
  15. Is set at 1.75 h and 1.25 l for starters from the bore kit instructions..and idle is fully in and it still needs a little throttle just to stay running wen it got started.... and i understand the spacing but im saying the slots in the coil are not wide enough to let me get proper space Is set at 1.75 h and 1.25 l for starters from the bore kit instructions..and idle is fully in and it still needs a little throttle just to stay running wen it got started.... and i understand the spacing but im saying the slots in the coil are not wide enough to let me get proper space
