  1. Are you sure the glow plug glows bright red? Not just a little bit at the bottom? Might want to invest in a in car hair dryer to pre heat the engine?
  2. Ahh right I see. I payed £240 for all of it just a few months ago. Just going off of that. Ill take £110 inuding postage!
  3. Im not to sure about the ESC but it will take 3S lipo fine. The motor is the silver 3000KV with the bigger 16 tooth pinion gear. Opposed to the 15 that was on there factory
  4. Must go quick. Price reduction to £130!
  5. Here for sale I have, My well kept Helion Dominus 10SCv2, just over 6 months old. It is the 4WD 1/10 Brushless version of the short course range that Helion produce. As you can see in the pictures it comes with everything you need to get going i.e Fully working car, body shell, 2S 7.4V 5000Mah Lipo, 6A rated balance charger by Radient (Same people that make the Motor/ESC) and all the 2.4ghz 3 channel radio gear too. Both front and rear diffs have just been fully serviced and packed with lithium grease. Just had all new bearings for all of the drive cups (Both inner and outer were done) Only been tested after fitting as well as having 2 new drive cups and all the wheel hexes done too. There is a uprated HPI SF something steering servo fitted too with a ally servo horn. All four shocks have also been serviced with 60WT oil not too long ago. It is an absolute bullet proof truck, with spares being widely available and very cheap too. Now for the bad bits; - The plastic support for the aerial on the transmitter has snapped from it's base, although I have hot snotted it back on. It does not effect functionality of the car in any way. It just means you can't fold the aerial down for storage. (If I can I will try and super glue it to get rid of the massive gloop of glue on there) - The gear that transfers power to the front diff has become non existent although I am going to be replacing that before it sells. The gear is only a £5 and very easy to fit if your not bothered about me fixing it etc. I am looking for £150. Willing to post at buyers expense. Buyer will pay PayPal fees. (It does look a bit dirty in the pictures that's only because they were taken just after I had tested it in the woods. It will all be cleaned up to look as new as possible.)

Have you tried soldering thick wires with it? Like 12AWG or thicker??

    Going rate?...

Ahh okay not to bad. I might hold fire on buying a bigger motor for my SC and look at these lol. Anything to be wary of going into a conversion like this?
  9. Out of curiosity what's the going rate of a Hyper 7 roller? Interested in a brushless conversion so something like, no engine, servos, radio gear, or wheels? Just a basic car lol

http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=361284418957&alt=web Something like this?? Not really looking for majour quality only be used handful of times lol
  11. Just wondering what people use to solder the big thick brushless motor wires. My 30w one doesn't really do the job unless you leave it on for a couple minutes and then it starts melting the silicone xD
  12. Yeah I always go on there for part numbers lol never realised you could buy from them. Defiantly gonna check
  13. Now that I've seen the cheaper ones I'll go for them lol. I would still love the Castle stuff but I can't convince my self to spend the extra. Like ostewart said upgrade/stock up on things that break with the £25/£30 I'd be saving lol. Shame you can't buy beefier shafts and diffs for it haha Speaking of shocks... The shock tops keep popping off from the body as they're plastic and have been abused alot haha. What shocks do people recommend?? I would like threaded ally ones??
  14. Yeah I was looking at that one too, would it be okay on 3s with a 4wd sc 1\10? Just wondering as I've seen lower KV ones with them saying only use upto 2s???
  15. I was looking at the hobbywing combos too, they looked a bit too cheap for my taste. Are they okay for the price?
  16. I've got a few spanners and a complete diff is only £6 I think it would be great
  17. http://www.modelsport.co.uk/castle-sidewinder-sct-waterproof-combo-with-1410-3800kv/rc-car-products/381406 Just browsing the website and came across this combo. Seeing it was Castle I am interested in it. I would put it in my Dominus 10SCv2 if I decide to keep it... I know its almost as much as the truck is worth but personally I have been extremely happy with the car, parts are cheap to replace. It would be great to drop a "big" motor in it... Kinda like a sleeper lol Thanks Matthew
  18. http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=281918121831&alt=web I have a total of 9 GV Rex X Spares and used parts from a stripped car. Brand new Spares still in manufacturing packaging. All 99p start no reserve. Check out my other items for sale on my account. Thanks Matthew
  19. Thank you so much for posting these, I was just looking for something like these. Anyone have anything to say about them?
