Yeah I'm planning on ordering that on Wednesday. I'm planning on a full ally front suspension set up if you'd be interested I could make up two sets. The front arms are weak as hell around the pivot (broke in about 2 mins on the first use) and I noticed you can't buy the arms in ally?! Seemingly every other part of the front can be upgraded from ftx except these

Most things I can fabricate in the workshop. Toying with the idea of a completely machined chassis and suspension set up. Do u know if it's relatively easy to put a bigger lump in it? Like a genoah 29cc?

Right I went for an hpi firebolt 15t with hpi sp15 esc and FS-GT2 transmitter and receiver

Cool. Not too fussed about expense. Any good brands to look out for? I'm looking for acceleration more than top end

Thinking of upgrading the motor on the above. As stock it runs a 27t 540 can and a 45a esc. I was looking at a 12t motor on ebay but I'm not sure what's good and whether I'll need to upgrade the esc too. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hehe. It is indeed an xrc, aquired it from a friend for a score as he'd crashed it into a tree. Are there any compatible parts?

Been into rc for years but thought I'd join a forum as I get into it more. I just bought an ftx siege brushed (I know I'm cheap) as I was planning on upgrading it pretty quick. Anything anyone would suggest?
