At the moment its the stock 8.4v 2000nAh which lasts about 5 minutes Thanks for the advise, Ill look into upgrading the motor. I did have a look at the firestorm thread but didn't really know where to start as its so big, but I'll have another look.

My son got a cheap Electrix circuit stadium truck for Christmas (which isn't too bad at all really and keeps up with the firestorm) and I ended up getting a Firestorm brushed version to drive with him. Problem is I was massively disappointed with the low speed that this has. I used to have a rush evo nitro and was expecting a similar speed. I have just been using the stock battery and was thinking of getting a better NiMh but will I get better speeds out of this or do I need to start upgrading it to get more speed? Preferably I'd like to keep using NiMh batteries as that is the same as my sons car and I just bought a new charger because the 6 hour trickle charger is no good. Or should i just forget about the firestorm and save up for a flux? (was originally looking at the flux but my wife bought me this without me knowing). Thanks for any Advise.
