  1. Hi mate, Sorry sold it about 2 weeks ago Cheers Andy
  2. Yer, I'm in 2 minds. I'm not going to rush it and sell it for silly money and if nobody wants it I will just keep it. Whilst I'm waiting I've nothing to loose by keeping trying with it. Ta Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Im still in 2 minds to keep it or not. If I can't get what I want for it then I will keep it I think.
  4. Right I've decided to sell it on. Ive just bought a truggy so feel I can't really justify keeping this. I did want to keep it and come back to it next year but its a bit to much money to sit not being used! I do feel a bit annoyed with myself for giving up so quickly but really want to just get out there and have some fun. Will be in the for sale section once I get some pics taken this week. Thanks everyone for taking the time to reply to me and offer some advice.. Thanks Andy
  5. Evening all, Managed to get one tank through but its way way to noisy for me. It amazes me just how loud it is. Is this normal for petrol r/c? I also think if I'm honest its way outside my level of r/c. As I'm just getting back into it I want something a little closer to my skill level. Im in 2 minds if I should put it in the back of the garage or try and sell it on. My biggest problem is the wife has said no to anything else until its gone lol
  6. Right, hopefully all going well I'm going to spend a bit of time tomorrow afternoon getting this thing started. I have to say I was a little surprised with the comments but I'm always happy to hear people honest thoughts. Would I still have bought one having read the issues others have had? Probably Will hopefully be able to report back with a running truck over the weekend. Thanks
  7. Im defiantly going to stick with it. Ive not exactly spent hours on it yet so no need to give up just yet. I certainly wouldn't be putting it back on eBay for someone else to spend money on something that didn't work. Its just not the way I work. It'll just be a lesson learned and I will move one to another truck.
  8. Hay all, Well thats 3 hours I'm never going to get back lol Spent a while in the garage trying to get it to start following the instructions and watching countless videos online. Got fed up and as my mate was waiting patiently with his nitro truggy we decided to chuck them in the car and head out. Spent another half an hour whilst he raced and jumped around. Finally gave up and went to the pub for a few beers haha I did notice that no fuel was getting to the carb. Fuel was priming and could be seen in the little bulb. If a small amount was dropped into the carb it would fire for a second. Ive not touched any of the settings or pipe work. Im not too fed up at the moment as I did enjoy just being out there and I'm sure this is something I can overcome with a small amount of time. I may pick up a nitro car in the next week or so, atleast I will have something to fall back on.
  9. Ahhh crap.. Thats typical of me. Always jump in head first. Annoyingly I bought it on eBay. It had never been taken out of the box so as of yet no idea if it'll run. I almost went for a used one from Modelsport UK for 599 so glad I didn't do that. Having said that I may have been able to return it? If it stops raining I'm going to give it a try so hopefully report back later.. Andy
  10. Evening all, Was into nitro a few years back but sold up due to work family reasons. Decided last weekend after seeing a friends truggy to get back into it. Was going to get a used or relativity cheap truggy/buggy or truck but found a brand new unused Savage XL Octane on eBay for
