  1. I know for the flux I can get away with a streight bar type brace but I'm guessing it'd take a bit more fiddling because of the cooling head on yours
  2. It's not everyones cup'a tea but years ago I had the hb lightning stadium truggy and that had a Rota start, I've seen mixed views on them but mine started without effort every time for over a year of heavy bashing....wish I'd of never given it away now as they're like hens teeth to find nowadays
  3. I'm not sure how to do links, but I've come across a couple of different ways that people have done in this thread so I guess it's going through it all, or Google search trophy center brace and scroll down to an msuk link
  4. Did it take long or was it an easy job? One modification I would suggest is some form of chassis brace, that's my next thing after I strip it and try and streighten my current one....or buy a new one, I'll have to see how it goes in the next couple of days
  5. That's unlucky about the pull cord, it's usually a wheel that's the first thing to fall off on your first time out :-D I found this forum a great help in my times of need, this thread alone has 700+ pages lol. Do you have the manual with an exploded diagram of all the parts? I downloaded a pdf file off Google which can help you mentally strip something down before you start so at least you have an idea of what components a part contains. If you think it's come undone somehow and not snapped then it's worth investigating yourself, take pics on your phone as you go for reference and you shouldn't go far wrong bud
  6. Thanks for the suggestion sully, I've flicked YouTube on and found ALL mydoddy69's videos but not had chance to have a good luck through at the moment...
  7. Hey welcome to the gang pal, I have the trophy buggy flux and it's s great basher although it doesn't usually cope with too many heavy landing cart wheels...but I'm quite harsh with mine. Can't help you with the nitro side much as not owned one for 10 years. Love my trophy buggy though I think they're brill
  8. Cheers guys it's certainly not streight, it's all over the place towards the rear. Looks like a stripdown and hammer'n dollies for now ans a new one in the new year
  9. Has anyone got a side pic of just the flux chassis on a flat surface to compare mine to, I know they have a slight kick up at the front.....but mine resembles a roller coaster :'(
  10. It's not quite as fun searching a big quarry for a missing drive shaft though....but I won that battle :-)
  11. Aye, mine deffinatly gets well used so it's no wonder things fall off....to be fair I think I like fixing it just as much as driving it so it's all good
  12. Went out for a quick bash at newhay quarry earlier....quick being the key word ha once again my battery outlasted the trophy....oh well, bits ordered off fleabay so now it's just a waiting game....again
  13. Anyone still go over to newhay quarry? I followed this thread a while ago and have just moved house over the road from there so I thought I'd sign up and maybe join yous? It's boring on your own....
