  1. Thanks that explained it a little better
  2. On looking further I have found that the two buttons are throttle end point adjust & Adjust the amount of movement to the forward and brake sides So I have a couple simple questions.... On the throttle end point adjust am I right in saying if I set this to max it will able the car to accelaerate and reach it max speeds? Shoul I have it set to full? Can this damage the car? What the hell does adjsuting the amount of movement to the forward and brake sides mean Please can you explain this in simple terms as I am complete newbie to this Cheers
  3. Im trying to work out on my lads new RC car the controller functions. He has a Kyosho DMT VE-R and I would like to know what the Throttel EPA x2 controllers do on the controller? It states under them A - EPA - B The B seems to give it more torque (faster off the mark) but not sure what the other one does? Thanks
  4. The guys. I think I'm going to get him the carnage ftx and see how he gets on. The parts seem reasonable and its not too pricey. One final question... If I want to squeeze a bit more speed out of it, would upgrading the battery from the provided 3250 man liopo to a 4200 do this? Anything else I can get to help with more speed? (That's not to pricey and simple to do) the in advance
  5. Great advice guys, the. I'll look at the party's issues with the kyosho as you all seem to think its OK and strong. If not I'll look at the hpi firestorm asnim sure my lad will be abusing it so stronger the better. Carnage souns s a little week. Thxc again
  6. Also is it better than the ftx carnage? Wot sorry of speeds would the carnage get? Surely not as quick as the truck as this does 60mph Any advice appreciated (in simple terms pls I'm a newbie)
