  1. Thank you so much for sorting that issue out, I will make sure I don't copy and paste like that again
  2. Such a great day chasing 1.3G Stunts rider Ben Williams around the beautiful Davidstow Airfield in Cornwall, UK. We couldn't of asked for better weather and also filmed on the longest day of the year to get that golden footage :) Huge thank you to Ben Williams for his amazing bike skills - https://www.facebook.com/13g-Stunts-536434740064412/ Huge thank you to Joel Tucker for this amazing edit - https://www.facebook.com/joel.tucker.58 Setup: ImpulseRC Reverb http://www.droneislife.co.uk/frames Gemfan Windancer 5043 durable props http://droneislife.co.uk/props Aikon AK32 35Amp BlHeli_32 ESCs https://droneislife.co.uk/escs/ Aikon F4 FC BF https://droneislife.co.uk/aikon-f4-flight-controller 3BHobby 2207 2700Kv Pro2 motors https://www.facebook.com/groups/163309940998787/ https://www.banggood.com/3BHOBBY-Racing-Motor-2207-PROII-KV19002700-Brushless-Motor-for-Racing-RC-Drone-p-1483975.html?rmmds=search&ID=533541&cur_warehouse=CN MenaceRC Thrasher 5.8Ghz antenna https://droneislife.co.uk/video-antennas/Menace-Thrasher Acehe Formula 1500mAh 95C 4s lipo TBS Unify vTx GoPro Session 5 1080p 60fps SV/PT TBS Crossfire Tx and Micro V2 Rx Checkout 1.3G Stunts sponsors that made this video possible... 3. Awesome weekend spent racing with Team Breakout FPV followed by the last flights at this amazing abandoned power station cooling towers. 4. Myself and SliderFPV from Droneislife.co.uk got the awesome opportunity to chase the amazing Plymouth Devils Speedway team around their track on a practice day. The mud and dust was a challenge for the quads in the air, after landing you could see wear on the props where they had been pelted by rocks and fine dust but the Gemfan Windancer props were more than up for the job. 5. Thank you @Jimmer7even Thank you @collective itch, this was filmed with a GoPro Session 5, 1080p@60FPS with Superview and Protune tuned on low light setting on too just in case it got darker with all the mist. I rarely change the settings from what I use as it seems to cover most situations including indoors etc.
  6. After a full weekend of fun I was down to my last backup quad, old faithful Immersion RC 250 Pro with 6" arms. Here is a fun flight up and down the mountain, on stock settings and not being flown in a while the old bird handled well but a little sloppy on the controls. This flight was just for pure fun and to take in the beautiful surroundings. Huge thank you to Team Break Out FPV for an awesome weekend
  7. With only 6 lipo's available the challenge was on to explore this amazing location without destroying my one and only quad. For my quad I choose a full Gemfan power train using Maverick 24a DShot600 ESCs, Gemfan GT2205 2450Kv motors with Gemfan Windancer 5042 props, this combo I could be sure of reliability and performance whatever the conditions. Special thank you to SliderFPV from DroneIsLife.co.uk for this edit. I have always wanted to see what someone else could do with my footage as I very often get quite a backlog of epic spots that need editing. http://www.airvuz.com/video/Es-Foguero-Palace-Freestyle?id=5a2d5b8485577f1eaff59304
  8. Hi All, Fun in the Autumn sun. This setup is my go to frame for trying anything new, the Armattan Chameleon is tough and feels dialled in with the Gemfan Windancer props. With that combination I know the quad will survive knocks and taps allowing more adrenaline and risks. The Crash - No damage was done to the quad or battery at all, after a full 12hr dry out it performed perfectly without any replacements. 9. Thank you so much Yes this is all my flying taken over an afternoon, we moved around to different spots to enjoy all the different area's. I mainly flew my Armattan SCX200 here as its the most agile of the two setups. Wow thank you RCButcher thats a high bar to beat Its always great to meet fellow RC'ers so next time I go there I will try and remember to give you a message on here to see if your free wont be for a few months now as I got lots of FPV competitions coming up. These flight mainly remind me why I love flying FPV so much, gives a renewed passion
  10. Hi All, Here is a quick mix of random locations where the throttle could be let loose and have some fun. These flights alternate between the Armattan Chameleon and the Armattan SCX200, both are setup for racing but they are equally fun for a bit of free style and adventure.
  11. Thank you Bigjimknickers lol glad you liked it tingtong33 sorry it made you feel dizzy, I will try and do more clockwise rolls to even it out a bit
  12. Hi All, After 2 days racing on a track it was time to let loose the throttle and have some fun at a random spot on the way home, and after watching the awesome freestyle pilots at this years Weston Park Helifest 2017 I thought I would have a go. This is one uncut flight with a interesting close up of a tree where I picked up a passenger. 13. Hi All, During a break in the racing, myself and most of Team Breakout got the opportunity to do a bit of exploring and found these amazing locations to have a fly. I normally try and keep as far away from water as possible as sooner or later I end up in it, these flights I flew with the knowledge that if anything went wrong I would not be recovering the footage so the adrenaline was flowing well. Any shakes you can see in the footage are purely from the pilot and not the tune on the quad Best viewed full screen 1080p@60fps I am flying my backup race quad here, Armattan SCX200 with 2600Kv red bottoms and 30A LittleBees running an XRacer 3.1 FC (Betaflight 3.0) and Acehe 1300mAh 75C 4s Lipo.
  14. Recently got the opportunity to have one flight at the amazing Anglesey Race Circuit. With so much space and so little objects about I was a bit lost but had so much fun anyway. I had been flying a huge Yuneec H920 Tornado all day so it was quite a shock to get back on the sticks of a racer. I am stood next to the Race Track control tower which turns out was not the best spot as it blocked my direct LOS but luckily the spotter had eyes on the quad at all times. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KpsJZ3uodwA
  15. Hi All, The UK Drone Show 2015 covered all aspects of the drone industry and one of the largest drone events for consumers to ever happen in the UK. It took place at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham on the 5th and the 6th of December 2015. http://www.ukdroneshow.com/ Leading up to the Show in December at the NEC a few of us got the chance to have a fly about and test the signal of our FPV gear inside the halls before the main event. Here I am flying the Fossil Stuff Gravity 280 which was part of a prize I won at the recent British FPV Nationals. Its a very well designed and sturdy frame that has the advantage of a very clean surface on the bottom meaning the hall floors were the perfect area to test some slides. This is probably the only time I have intentionally tried to hit the ground while flying (apart from landing of course lol) and it was great fun but needs more practise to make it smooth https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i-pbMy_WiUw The next video begins with a staged race between myself and MarkG_R1 for a BBC camera man to get some consistent close proximity shots of the quads in formation going round the track. At the end of the day a few of us decided to go anti-clockwise round the track after doing 100+laps the other way, this was great fun and lead to some great racing against TheTonStar1. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8VXUPfcjDh8 The next video was not a race, it was a game of pure survival. Due to the electrics in the floor and other exhibitors using the Fatshark channels (when they shouldn't be) we had terrible FPV reception during the day, some pilots had much better views on other channels or frequency sets like Boscam. I was flying in "keep it in the air" mode and had great fun and a good challenge. Such a fun event with so much to see and do, there was all the big names of FPV in the UK in attendance along with some of the top pilots in Europe like MetallDanny who I got to race against all day as he was in my heats. This amazing course was setup by the awesome chaps at HoverSpeed RC, the BFG obstacle in the middle of the track added so much enjoyment and took the track to another level along with the tunnels and flags, check out their site: www.HoverSpeedRC.co.uk/ FPV footage was captured using Fatshark Dominator HD V2's purchased with confidence from FirstPersonView, Awesome service and such a friendly company to deal with, check out their site: www.FirstPersonView.co.uk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KYR78M2Z6dw
  16. Hi All, Here is a quick flight at a friends place. The location is beautiful and has sat untouched for many years which means there is an adventure via FPV at every turn. For once I didn't venture into the woods but instead had plenty of objects to fly around and do a few laps. Best viewed full screen 1080p http://youtu.be/JqAdGFXDqjE
  17. Hi All, After a long day at work it was time to wind down and have a nice relaxing flight among the freshly cut bails of ferns, no thrills just a nice constant motion to blow the dust of the quad and for me to get my FPV fix. I hope you enjoy this flight. Best viewed full screen 1080p http://youtu.be/kTof7oz1G0o
  18. Hi All, This is my second visit to this wonderful site. The remains of the Danescombe Valley Papermill make for some of the most fun FPV agility flying I have ever experienced, every corner and gap leads onto another and then another all linking together to make a very satisfying course. The building has a bit more undergrowth on it since I last visited in 2014 but seems to be maintained by local residence for the joy of the public which I thank them for. This flight I am using the Rotor Evolution RE180 'Tilt' frame, its a excellent frame made from the highest quality carbon fibre. With built in 10degree motor tilts this mini-quad packs a serious top speed being able to keep up with the 250quads with ease. This quad is untuned and only been flown a few times but as you can see its quite at home with close proximity flying. I am joined by fellow FPV pilots and spotters DougC +1 and MarkG, also spotter Lee is up the lane making sure we are safe from walkers and dogs while we fly. Thank you for your time guys The other quad flying in this video is a Rotor Evolution 180mm Decker flown by DougC. Best viewed fullscreen 1080p http://youtu.be/hi3lKk8OY_M
  19. Hi All, I had the great honour of meeting Sir David John White, OBE (Stage name David Jason AKA Derek "Del Boy' Trotter from TV series 'Only fools and horses'). He was such a great chap to meet and have a chat with and I jumped at the chance to show him this new technology and hear his reactions to FPV Racing. The plan was to stage a small race between myself and the biggest smile in FPV 'Badlands', I planned to stay close behind Badlands to get some awesome close proximity shots. The wind was very strong and caused a few wobbles but the plan went well and David got a smooth ride up until the end. Sadly a generator was running near us which drowns some of the sound out. DougC was acting as our spotter during this event with Mike Elliott adding some commentary for the benefit of David. Thank you guys. Huge thank you to Horizon Hobby UK for putting on this awesome event, every facet of the RC world was covered by some of the courtiers top hobbyists in attendance, the first UK Airmeet for Horizon Hobby. http://www.horizonhobby.co.uk/ Huge thank you to Leamington Hobby Centre for the awesome venue and for getting in a rowing boat to recover my Spanky 5 quad from the RC boat lake. Check out their site: http://www.lhcmodelshop.co.uk/ The amazing FPV Racing course was provided by the brilliant chaps at HoverSpeed RC, their support and passion for this hobby has helped so many, check out their website for more: http://www.hoverspeedrc.co.uk/ This flight was using the GensAce Tattu 1300mAh 75C 4s lipo, the performance is incredible and the consistent high discharge rate shows very little voltage sag during the whole flight, check out their website for awesome products: http://www.gensace.de/recommend-products/tattu-1300mah-14-8v-75c-4s1p-lipo-battery-pack.html This flight was recorded using the Runcam HD F2.8 camera, the quality of the image and reliability makes it a winner for racing and adventures, check out their site for more info: http://shop.runcam.com/runcam-hd/ Location: Leamington Hobby Centre, near Warwick, UK Conditions: Strong winds but sunny The thought of using these at a nudest beach lol Not sure who had more fun here Such a great chap, pictured here is also Mike Elliott Team photo while Banni UK shows his freestyle skills Awesome track setup by HoverSpeed RC, FPV Mecca Chasing DougC at sunset Chasing DougC at sunset Chasing DougC at sunset Chasing DougC at sunset Chasing DougC at sunset Chasing DougC at sunset Chasing DougC at sunset Chaos on the track Part 1 Chaos on the track Part 2 New HoverSpeed RC Racing Pylon being setup LHC and HoverSpeed RC Team photo Mike Brewer (Wheeler Dealer) helping to recover a Fossils Stuff Gravity 250 from a hedge Carnage in the pit lane The great BFPVRA chairman climbing a tree to recover a quad SN30 ESC decided to set fire to my quad on throttle up, it took a hard hit on the flight before causing this chaos
  20. Thank you all so much I went to the Nats thinking I would be happy with a top 10 finish and then was blown away with the win, all made the better for flying with such a great group of people.
  21. The UK Drone Racing Nationals were held on the 30th August 2015 at RAF Barkston Heath Nr Grantham, Lincolnshire. The event is the first one like this held in the UK with the top three pilots qualifying for a chance at the World Drone Championship 2016 in Hawaii, USA. In true British style the wind was blowing strong and patchy rain but this did not stop the fun. The day was so good with highlights like having Mr Cleanflight himself (+Dominic Clifton) as my spotter in one of the Semi finals and of course getting 1st place at the end of the day. I would like to congratulate the three other pilots I had the honour to race against in the Final, all day they consistently showed amazing skills and jaw dropping next level speeds. Also all the other amazing pilots that competed on the day made this event one to remember. After hearing they were all down during the race I tried to stay calm and slow down just to finish the laps as I was physically shaking from the pressure and adrenaline. Huge thank you to FPVLeague.co.uk for recording this footage and more thanks goes to the commentary on the Live stream that this video takes its source from. Location: RAF Barkston Heath Nr Grantham, Lincolnshire, UK Conditions: Windy with rain
  22. Hi All, Here we have a small time trial course setup buy the guys at Hoverspeed RC using their new line of Pro Air Gates and FPV Race flags. Time trials are great fun having a defined line to race on which gives you a good way to challenge yourself and friends to some fun friendly racing without the hassle of getting FPV frequencies correct or hitting each other but then that's half the fun lol Best viewed full screen 1080p 60FPS
  23. Thank you Tug That's an awesome idea and a great challenge, I can picture it now and it would be incredible footage. Since moving to Multirotors I have not got contact with a lot of Bashers I used to know when I ran my Savage X but I will make it my mission for this summer. Thanks for the idea.
