Thanks guys you've bailed me out of emaxx mis adventurers and then 5SC super flux I feel a lot of help on the Losi as time goes by. The castle set up I've bought has all the connections but I might need to put on 8mm bullets to connect the ESC to the batteries. Christmas card or no card I'll still shout for help :-)

I'm ok soldering bullets on but I need to make a series connector for the 2 x zippys and this then makes me scared I'll be looking for 5.5mm from the zippys to 8 mm castle..... Anyone know who can make up one? I've tried online but failed

Thanks guys shopping all done: RC monster conversion kit, 780kv 2028 with XL2, castle BEC PRO, castle twin blower fans, 2 x zippy 4S 8000mah 30C batteries. I also went into RC prawn bought FLM front and rear braces and skid plates. Two things bother me; firstly would it be better lowering 16T to 14T to help start up and reduce strain on esc the other is batteries I usually always go for as high a discharge as possible (70-120) these are 30-40C..... I've ordered it all so let's see...

The 8000mah zippy's look the ticket and don't break the bank. Any advice on motor mount I realised I didn't actually pay for the RC madness one and it would be good to know what is recommended.

The Superflux may go its running a sensored 1800kv hobbywing on 4s and flies along, its immaculate with a new 5SC bodyshell, but its been sitting on the shelf for ages now probably waiting for the right offer I know I hear equal amounts of pain from BL convertors but also some great smiles and im sorely tempted to take it into the world of electric...... if I don't it will be gone

Just stepped away from my FLM Emaxx and Hobao to the world of 1/5th scale, the HPI Superflux 5SC is on the shelf gathering dust and a Losi Five T deal came my way and I had to have it. Now its time to look at what I do with it and I really fancy a BL conversion as i'm rubbish at Nitro.... So here's the thing i'm not after speed runs i'm after bashing and having fun on grass so I start looking at kit, ideally 780kv and 2028 on 8S would be where I was initially pointing but i've seen issues with that as the XL2 isn't beefy enough for the job. MGM is way out of my price range as this will send the internals over

All done and futabab 3GR is a doddle to set end points etc, now I'm thinking with a new body on it the wheels look terrible. I read in the posts not to bang on the baja heavy wheels but I'd like to change mine, any recommendations on wheels and size all the baja ones seem to be big wides on the rear and skinny buggy wheels on the front, I'm looking for that all round SC wheel.

Truck runs like the Wind on 6S 1800 Hobbywing great turn of speed for such a big truck, tempos are good, not aiming to blast this at full tilt everywhere just enjoying it. I'll do that to my FLM Emaxx lol... Just need to make the steering more precise at the moment it feels like the turning circle of the Queen Mary lol

Savox 1230 bought and fitted turning is better but I expected more angle I think the steering needs adjusting but I have no idea what I can do to maximise the turning circle.

Can you give me a few recommendations model numbers I seem to be going round and round doesn't look like a 1/5 scale will fit in the servo mount box though. I think I might go 7955TG as this us what I've got in my Emaxx and that does the job .

Suggestions on servo?
