umm interesting, ok I have taken the spark plug out and your right there is little resistance agreed ok the pull starter its zenoah original of the 320 the pawl is metal and a wire cable which isn't bent or twisted anyway and smooth as silk , and always been told compression is high, but I don't believe this is a compression issue, I'm not saying the crank is FUBAR just enough to cause a variation in rotation to cause a problem note to add, a year ago I had drill starter KILLER RC which was slightly damaged when I put drill in and tried turning over there was a clunk at every 360 rotation I tried that for about 10 rotations and realised something was wrong and this "compression" has been there every since now at that time it obviously caused an issue not for engine run, runs sweet as I said, just the initial issue, which I believe isn't compression sorry to go bout this a real head scratcher ps how could it possibly be pullstart related with much respect

hi guys, been a while since I've been here hope to get some advice re: I think bent crankshaft thats my theory Ive got baja 5b heavily upgraded ,all the things you can think of are all ok, except when u try and pull to start, u could literally lift of the ground, very hard to explains if u pull slowly through the crank u can pull cord all way through but if pull to start it literally locks and feels like your hand will rip away from your arm I haven't really got explanation, but when is running its sweet idles nice and revs fine when u recovered from broken wrist, my question is could a damaged crankshaft possibly be the problem as I taken engine apart and top end looks ok to me any advice would be appreciated jules

umm the plug , things seem to be pointing to that, and the fact u said carb adjustment was out gives me hope, thank you v much

well that's it I think I cant start the car had enough of it had it 2 weeks taken on 1 run I lost drive then fixed that tried tuning cant do that with all help ive had so just gonna throw away nowhere to take it so that's it cheers guys for the help much appreciated

ok I start with new plug if not that do I buy new carb if not that but that's another

Also will a walbro wt-990 crb fit yama buggy,and is it really necessary to buy new carb as it was working 2 days ago, as I said I cant get it working and as the needles hi lo settings are so sensitive it needs someone with more experience than me to resolve issue

ok a carb rebuild is the last thing I wanted to get into, but looks as tho im gonna have to give it a go ill check both needles make sure they are ok and go off the zenhoa carb settings, thankyou tamiyacowboy

hi guys ive tried all advice utube google forums and the advice is general and all the same which its all correct and ive followed it all to the letter but no matter how much i try i cannot get my yama 30cc to fire up it did 2 days ago until i tried to tune it it bogged down cut out never been close to starting since, bottom line i need someone show me in person how to get this started i just wanna get it sorted and get out there, please help ps i will pay to get this sorted dnt expect it to be free

brand new yama 30cc ( HI GUYS) as far as im aware ive done everything needed to breakin the yama as should be after 20 or so minutes driving noticed a tinny sound and rattle then slowed right down then stopped it tried to move under gentle throttle wheels would turn when u lift backend off ground, took home on closer inspection noticed nothing missing or visually different but pushing forward bout a foot or so wheels go round 3/4 turn then other 1/4 would rub n grind, throttle works steering servos works but no drive , I think terminal and needs returning or am I completely wrong advice please much appreciated
