Hello friends. I've been wanting to get a 1/5 scale ever since my friends whom I bash with made me feel rather under dressed for the occasion with my 1/8 scale and because of their generosity of letting me take their 1/5's for a spin and not wanting to give the transmitter back to them and breaking their pull starts....... lol @ Nick so....... I just got myself a Losi 5ive and loving it. I was aiming for a KM or even Rovan as that was in my budget but one very well sorted Losi was offered at a price I couldn't refuse after a long night of negotiations. I picked it up yesterday and I'm extremely happy with it. Its had a few upgrades and I'm planning a few for the future. The shell really isn't in great shape but that doesn't bother me in the slightest as I know a few tumbles and falls are in the cards and I can drive it like I stole it! I was out bashing today in a fire break deep in the forest and there is a nice hump there and was getting some good air. I was very impressed the way the car flies and how well balanced it is! Over all I couldn't be happier! Over the next couple of months I'm hoping to add some nice bits but probably wouldn't change the shell Waiting for my remote kill switch to arrive so I can bash in a better spot to

Hello and enjoy. I'm also a new member and have found this forum to be very friendly and useful. Already made a few friends that I go bashing with on the weekends.

The clutch isn't disengaging and/or the idling is set to high or the clutch springs are gone. The car needs a perfect idle speed in order for the clutch to disengage and release.

I would look into a nice xtm Nitro rail its 1/8. I have one and its great fun. Parts are readily available and there are nice upgrades to. Its a all purpose car. 4wd gives it awesome grip to. I have just upgrade to a 1/5 scale but would never get rid of my nitro rail. Its a great all round car . I picked mine up for

Its a XTM Nitro rail. But it has the 2 speed fitted. I tell you what I really like that car! I just manage to strike a good deal on a Losi 5ive-t and I really don't see myself selling the nitro rail.

Fitted a 2 speed to my xtm nitro rail. Gave it a good clean. Test time tomorrow

Hello everyone. Just got myself a XTM nitro rail, enjoying it very much. Slowly starting to add a few bits here and there, like a 2 speed gear set I just bought. I was always big into the on road nitro cars, this is my fist nitro buggy and its just too much fun. I had a grasshopper 2 as my first car when I was a youngster.
