  3. Hello all, i have had my SCX10 Rubicon unlimited with the long wheelbase for some time now and although i love it i am thinking of a face lift. The problem i feel i am having is that there doesnt seem to be many other true scale looking bodies, i.e complete with interior other than the stock Rubicon. The body i want is the Defender D90 or a Toyota type but i have only seen these available for the Dingo which has the shorter wheelbase. Does anybody know of anywhere i could one for my Rubicon? I realise i could get some links and Dingo chassis rails but that would mean losing my wheelbase which i like. Any suggestions?
  4. Hello, im just wondering if anyone has any input on running a rig without the foam inserts or is it a no-no. Im running my SCX10 without foams and personally i like the deflated look and think it must get more grip, however i have read that you should allways use the foams, is this true?
  5. Thanks for all your suggestions guys but i have now got the E-Tronics Probe, it has 2s lipo with cut off which is all i use, its waterproof, has drag brake, easy to set up and only
  6. I am needing a waterproof ESC since mudding for the first time the other day with my SCX10 Rubicon and realised what i been missing, however, being a bit of a newbie, i realise i need to chang things, could someone please point me in the right direction regarding the electronics?
  7. Hello, had my SCX10 Rubicon in some mud today for the first time, i loved it and want to do more muddy driving but as my electronics are all stock it is obvious things need to be changed. Can anyone suggest an esc, the motor is stock (brushed), would water/mud cause my motor damage, can i get a brushless motor. I use a 2s lipo but would like to use 3s.
  8. Thank you. Do you know what the largest is i can go to? SCX10 Rubicon.
  9. Ah this sucks, they look sound on it too. I might have a look at those adjusters, thanks for replying.
  10. Hello, new to scaling but liking it a lot. Could anybody suggest any beefy shocks that i could get, also what would be the longest that i could use?
  11. Can not watch your vid mate, it says its not available, by the way do you go the woods often? Im in Seaforth with an Axial Rubicon, was going to go the woods.
  12. Hello people, i have just purchased some after market alloy piggy back shocks for my SCX10 Rubicon, they are a lot stiffer, chunkier and extend to 103mm, they look amazing on the jeep however, when installed my drive train seems very jittery, is this because of the length of shock pushing my axles away from the chassis so much that my drive shafts are on such an angle that they can not operate the way the should? Any ideas anyone?
  13. I think the only thing the brace is for is to mount a chassis mounted servo on, i dont think it adds any more sturdiness, so yeah, why not just remove it
  14. Thanks mate nah, not on Facetube. Ha. I got the post code now anyway.
  15. Hello, i will make this quick. I recently bought some alloy lower links, the front is 115mm, i have installed them and now i can push my front suspension all the way down without my servo touching the chassis. Cheers.
  16. Hello im in Liverpool, could someone post the address of this quarry please.
  17. Hy all, im new to scaling and recently bought the SCX10 Rubicon, i have decided to everything i can to alloy, this brings me to Jazrider parts. I purchased and received a full set of alloy lower links, the description was Honcho/Dingo, i thought the Honcho was the same wheelbase so went ahead with my order however, they do seem a bit shorter, not much, a couple of mill, would this cause me any problems? Any info much appreciated.
  18. So would you say its splash proof atleast then?
  19. Hello people, i have just ordered an Axial limited Rubicon RTR and it should arrive tomorrow, i chose it because i already own crawlers and bashing machines and i realy like the scaleness of the Rubicon and cant wait to be adding things to it however, can anybody tell me if it is waterproof straight out of the box? If not what are my options so i can get trekking. Thanks.
  20. Ok,i just looked on the box and it does have a drag brake, i downloaded the manual and tried resetting the esc once more and still no joy, could it be the motor or esc? I mean, how could the esc malfunction? Please any ideas from anyone?
  21. Thanks for replies, i am quite sure it is meant to have drag brake, i bought it 2nd so i thought it might have been a motor or transmission issue, thanks fod the esc reconmendation, i will be looking into it.
  22. Hello people, complete newbie to the forum. Can someone please help, i have recently acquired a Losi MRC, although it is a great little machine the drag brake does not seem to work, whether i am ascending or descending it just will not remain stationary. I have tried to reset / reprogram the ESC to the book but still no joy, could this be transmission or motor related? Please help.
