Hello, i have been offered an old Tamiya Juganaut front cab with a Hilux rear bed to go my SCX10, does anybody know if it will fit? Thank you.

So you have had it in the garden at 30mph, wow, some garden you must have. Ha. You ask about shock oils 30 or 40wt? I dont know much but i would imagine it could depend on what sort of springs you're using, the position of the shock itself and the weight of your battery. If all is stock then i might consider 20 front 40 rear. So you have had it in the garden at 30mph, wow, some garden you must have. Ha. You ask about shock oils 30 or 40wt? Ah well, got the tools out last night and the spur gear had worn, obviously because the mesh was not set correctly in the first place, i contacted the shop "RADSHAPE RC" near Birmingham and they informed me i would need a new spur gear, i think i gather that i explained and asked if they would send me one due it being down to bad construction and it only been used once, they refused and said i would have to buy one, i said ok but not from them. RADSHAPE RC stink. -

Thanks for all replies, i will let you know. -

Thanks for replying and yes i know it should be in crawlers, it just im used to posting in the scale forum. Ha. It sounds like the gear box so my first port of call will be the gear mesh, maybe the motor has moved a touch. Just wanted to know if it was normal before i get the tools out, first Wraith i had you see. Cheers. -
Hello, can anybody help with this, my brand new Poison Spyder is making a clicking sound when under throttle, sounds like something has worked loose but i am unsure. Any ideas? Thankyou.

Cheers for your replies, i dont think i will go for a D90 because after all i do like the long wheelbase but with the price of the D110 being so high at the mo i think i might go for another Wrangler but do it in yellow with black trim, a change in colour should bring it back to life. -

Omg, i didnt even think of shorter links, wouldnt the chassis rails be sticking out at each end tho? What size links would i need and do i swap all of them (upper and lower?) -

Yeah, i think its a joke, would be good to have one. I love my SCX10 but im getting bored of the Wrangler body, sort of regretting getting the long wheelbase, should have got the Dingo, theres more selection on body shells. -

Cheers for replies, im not having much luck with this, wouldnt you think there would be a better market for these chassis's? Very limited bodyshells available, but then it is a JEEP branded model, Rc Bitz has the D90 shell but that will only fit the Dingo, i can get one from the States, it comes in -
Hello, is anybody selling or know where i can get a Landrover bodyshell to fit my SCX10 Unlimited 313mm wheelbase? I can get one OFF RC4WD but only from the States. Thankyou.

Ah will have to wait a while then, thanks for the info.

Landrover Defender for SCX10.
Breitling.1884 replied to Breitling.1884's topic in Scale Crawlers & Replicas
Yeah Oh How Original, thats another option, i have seen the extentable rear portion for the D90 but feel as tho it would break in two if I was to put it together. Haha. I just cant understand why i can purchase the D90 but not the D110, im sure the LWB is just as popular. I feel isolated. Ha.
