  1. Looking for parts for Tamika TXT 1 most specifically a pair of GPM alloy steering knuckles and 4x alloy wheel drive adaptors
  2. Good picture of the no photography sign.. body looks pretty smart
  3. Asbestos in railway sleepers is a new one to me.. How? When ever we build beds with old railway sleeps we line inside with plastic or similar to keep tar and oil out of soil, absaloutely fine then, built loads of beds and walls that havnt hurt plants at all New ones are softwood look **** and won't last Aslong. Steel suppliers often sell sleepers for some reason, last lot I bought were from one and I paid
  4. Last few hours before I just keep it, would come down a sensible amount on price
  5. Car makers map cars to allow for a variety of altitudes and climates as appossed to max power the engine can sustain, hence why remaps (sensible ones) can improve fuel consumption
  6. If it gets stopped at customs coming from America it'll be something like extra 50quid on top
  7. If it says 6s on the box then it should be able to handle it without breaking... I don't not use 6th gear in my car incase it breaks, they should just make them as good as they imply they do
  8. If no interest it'll be moving to my loft tomorrow night
  9. Ha ha typical. Never mind, I'll know who to ask if I'm ever desperate for some more
  10. Looks good will def consider if don't sell
  11. Might look into it if it doesn't sell, just annoyed with both esc's blowing and the pain in ass it is to try claim on warranty. Impulsive sale....
  12. PayPal or cash on collection. Any offers considered
  13. The for sale post has gone up...
  14. http://www.msuk-forum.co.uk/topic/199068-tamiya-txt-1-lots-of-upgrades/#entry2059693 Got my txt up for sale just thought I'd post here as I'm only an hour from Bristol
  15. So Bought the TXT couple months back, was hardly used and standard out the box stuff. iv added - GMade 103mm Piggyback shocks (sticks are not greatest but obviously has no effect on performance) (set vertical instead of cants) - Full rubber sealed ball bearings - 1inch (per side) wheel wideners (aluminium) - 14mm Stainless steel splined wheel hexs to match wideners - GPM aluminium front steering knuckles - GPM aluminium steering rods front and back - GPM aluminium servo mounts front and back - Punisher 2 universal driveshaft's (much larger and stronger) - front axel links have RC4WD steel/ally M4 male rod ends instead of the plastic as they kept popping off on the front - replaced a lot of the bolts and nuts with stainless steel bolts and nylock nuts - turnigy waterproof high torque servos front and back will come with (unless unwanted at which point could negotiate reduction in price) -turnigy 3Ch transmitter and micro receiver - turnigy 3S 3600mah lipo (x2) (im not the best at soldering so you might want to re do so its neater) - Overlander balance charger also have the original box and manual and the majority of bits that I have taken off whilst upgrading which can be seen in one of the pics presently has the original 2 540 can motors installed with original pinions. needs either a esc capable of running the 2 or a decent motor/esc combo to upgrade body is in reasonable nick apart from the usual scratches for a truck that loves wheels and backflips, some scratches to bumpers and frame here and there but still good and solid. I did take a hack saw to the radio tray and removed the posts for the old manual speed controller to make space for modern esc and receiver, obviously doesn't effect anything other than being able to fit manual speed controller. one of the mounting points on front axle guard broke off shown in photos think that covers everything very honestly, any questions please ask would like
  16. Decided to try to sell my Tamiya TXT-1 which I bought a little while back and spent a lot of money on. selling due to fact that not one but two of my ESC's imploded today (due to faulty motor I think) so selling on impulse due to my irritation photos and info to follow
  17. Took the knackered esc off, took matching one off my ta04. Put it the txt wired all up cable tiered up neatly, connected battery and transmitter up, rolled 3 inches forward and then that esc imploded in a puff of smoke, really have no idea what the hell is going on
  18. I really might try to sell it as pissing me off now but thinking I'm gona loose out a lot...
  19. After fixing it all was going well until there was a loud pop followed by a puff of smoke, think it was the little voltage meter on the esc imploding I was joking about selling the truck but it's now really starting f me off
  20. Anybody want to buy a txt1.. All I do is break it...
  21. Yea with esc there shouldn't be a requirement for the extra battery, just adds weight and untidiness
