  1. Thanks I'm debating buying the fastrax or going for a new drill as i need one around the house anyway!
  2. Hi there, Just after some advice on buying a roto start, I've used pull starts for a while on my 7 without any issues but my ST came with a backplate for a roto start which i have now tried using a friends drill after my new pull start broke and it seems like a good option. what roto starts do you recommend or should i just buy the rod and use my drill? Any advice appreciated[emoji3]
  3. Hi there, Just after some advice on maintenance, I'm gradually learning and at the moment i clean the buggy with a damp cloth and a little wd40, then give it a coating of GT85 other than brakes and clutch. Finally put a few drops of after run oil in the engine. Then every now and then wash the air filter sponge and re-oil. Now just after some advice on other bits i should be doing, do i need to grease bearings and how often? Also when to change oil in diffs and shocks? Any other bits? Thanks
  4. The backplate was standard so it was a different one way bearing and axle, so ordered a hex axle from Marderboy and will try that first and then may have to get a new one way bearing. Do you know if i should clean or lube the old one way bearing before fitting a new axle and what should you use? Thanks
  5. Took the roto start off and underneath it is a different shape to that on the Mach 28 pull start I have, does that mean the last owner changed the back of the engine?
  6. That's great thanks I'll have a look then
  7. Hi there, Just got a cheap 2nd hand hyper st and it has a roto start but want to swap this to a pull start. Do I only need a new pull start as on modelsport for
  8. Hi there, Needed a new plastic servo horn for my savox 0254 on my hyper 7 so ordered some of ebay size 25t suits futaba. now ive got them they will not go on!! been told to stick with plastic as they protect the servo more, is that right or aluminum ok? Either way can you recommend a servo horn that will fit my savox 0254? Thanks
  9. thanks, where do you ideally want torque and speed servos?
  10. Hi there, Right currently have a hobao h101 servo on throttle and savox 0254 on steering but after thinking i may have damaged one (luckily i haven't it was just the horn) want to order a couple of spares. So what are good replacements for up to
  11. just noticed your post, i was thinking of just making the hole bigger/higher in the splash guard so it may lift a little more, bit of a rubbish design on their part.
  12. Hi there, After a decent look over my buggy i can see that the rear brake linkage clashes wth the bottom of the air filter. This is when screwed to the splash guard as they designed. Just wondered what everyone else was doing to get over this?
  13. It seems to be the teeth in the plastic horn that have gone rather than servo so much better for my pocket![emoji3]
  14. Haven't tried it moving since so I'll see if i can test tonight, steering trim is fine as i set it to neutral. one way it goes back to straight and the other way goes back past that point.
