Hey guys and gals. Took a small break from MSUK to sort my life out a little. Spent some time floating around Tamiya Club and now back here. Needed to try and sort out my Levant which was totally doing my head in. Hope everyone is doing alright! Doesn't look like XV Pilot has returned yet ??
Also wasnt too sure where to post this
Leave it in the bath to dry. Sweep off all the dried dirt. Spray bearings if I can bothered too. Put away. Charge batteries when I remember to. Ready for next time. Once a year full strip and clean.
@XV Pilot
The DF02 67t spur is 41.5mm. So 4.5mm bigger than the 88t 0.4 spur. I don't know how close the clearance is on the 88t spur. I think it's gonna be a case of get hold of one and see if it fits
Gold. As close to the BMW Gold volour as you could get. I love that colour on the M3 and M4. OR..... Silver and Blue... Need For Speed Most Wanted style.
I'm hoping my information is correct, it looks like the OD of the 88t 0.4spur is 36mm so if the 70t or 67t df02 spur is the same or smaller. It should fit. But I can't find any sizes online for the Df02 spur gear.
I know that the TB01 can take an quite a large 0.4 mod spur gear. Can't remember how many teeth it has. 80t I think. So my thought is... Find out the size of the largest 0.4 spur gear and find the spur gear in 0.6 which is the same diameter and that should fit fine. Need to measure the 0.4 spur gear and the 67t and 70t DF02 spur gears and see if they are the same size. If they are... Then my Levant is getting a much larger spur gear.
It looks like it is the same fitting. Single pin through a shaft to which the drive spur slides on to. Im 99% certain tamiya wouldn't change the depth of which the pin slides into the gear so I'm fairly certain it is the exact same fitment as the Tb01. Also hoping that the prop shaft is the same size.
Update for the Neo.
Cheap random steering servo.
23t LRP motor.

Nothing silly, just a reliable car can throw a pack into and run. Undecided on which pinion size to run.
