  1. Ah I see. I'm hoping it hasn't done anything to my esc or else that's more cost
  2. That's what I thought aswell lol. What esc was that maz ? I had been enjoying building it today aswell. I hope it hasn't damaged my esc ill have to check it tomorrow. I Cudnt believe how much smoke comes of such a small battery
  3. Hi maz. No I had the shell on aswell. I can only think that one of the plugs on the batteries has pierced the battery when it's hit the ground as it was a tight squeeze strapping them in
  4. I just can't believe it's on my new build. Yea I'm guessing it was the roll over as it started hissing then loads if smoke then eventually fire. Hobbywing 150a esc leopard motor and 2 nano tech 3s battery's. Before I got to it I thought it was going to melt to the ground before i ripped the batteries of it. All I was thinking was pound coins that is spent on it lol
  5. Hey guys. Just built my new hyper sse and on my very first run with it one of my lipos decided to explode after a roll over and it has also damaged my other battery. The damage on the buggy isn't to bad luckily only melted a bit of the battery tray and the centre diff mount. I think I will invest in some hard case lipos now ...
  6. Thanks for the advice guys. I'll have a look at the ten shock motor aswell. So the lower kv will have more torque , what about topspeed ? Is the lower kv faster overall.
  7. Hey guys I'm converting a hyper 7 to electric and I need a bit advice on what kv motor I should be using. I am going to get a leopard 4082 which I've seen in 2000kv and 1600kv but which kv would I be better of with for 6s running.
  8. No thanks I'll get a new 1 then I know how it's been run in right etc peace of mind
  9. Yea after a bit of research I rekon the hyper but the 21 not the 28.
  10. Hey guys. I'm considering getting another nitro after having only electric for quite a while. I'm stuck on either the hyper 7 Mach 28 or the inferno mp9 rtr. Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on these two. My last nitro was a hyper 7 21 a few years back so I am familiar with the hyper. Thanks
  11. I had a look on hobbyking and I'm impressed. Thanks for recommending it guys
  12. Hey guys. Is hobbyking the best place to buy reasonable priced lipos? If there's any better options please let me know
  13. That's what I meant all 3 diffs are shimmed up. And yea thread lock on the grub screws aswell
  14. Yea it is good for the price compared to others. I had fun with mine tonite since I have shimmed the rear diff as my first diff went real quick. I have got cable ties round all the hex pins and cva pins so they can't fly out and thread lock on it aswell.
  15. Just had a bash on 6s 10 mins ago no probs with my new improvements I have done on the truck today. Hyper 7 is a buggy i like monster trucks so no thanks. Weather savage flux or not they have the same internal diff gears so it doesn't matter. My diff is nicely shimmed and oiled up and it has just took a beating so I am now happy with it. Had to make a cva pin out of a drill bit today as the stock 1 snapped and it's held up fine so I'm happy over all
  16. Yea definetly. It's good fun tinkering anyway lol I'll improve it for sure. The s50 looks well smart I think. Bet it goes well with that combo
  17. I'll make it bulletproof no doubt about it. And address it is exactly what I'm doing now.
  18. I done research. Plenty people run 6s on the mt4 to heme fair 4s is rubbish. The diff gears on most rc manufacturers are very similar it's not rocket science. Why do thunder tiger put 6s capable electronics on it then. Look at it like this. People who convert hyper 7s to brushless and run 6s. Does it say in the manual not to ? No it doesn't
