  1. Yeah maybe it was an over sight, although I would have thought they would update the exploded diagrams avalible on the website with an alternative part number. Not to worry I have the screws ordered now Great thanks, I will keep a note of this for future rebuilds.
  2. Thats great! Thanks I will search for those now. Its strange that the part number doesn't seem to exsist, i have even looked at the diagrams for the newer WR8 to see if the numbers have changed at all, and they still list that part number?
  3. Does anybody have a part number for the screws in the diff that usually need drilled out? The diagram shows them as being 107873 but I cant find any listed under this number

  5. That seems decent, is it an upgrade compared to the standard HPI TF-40 or about the same? Its a bit cheaper than the HPI set. The other set I was looking at was this one: http://www.modelsport.co.uk/carson-reflex-pro-2-lcd-3ch-2.4ghz-fhss-combo/rc-car-products/368278 just because its from modelsport and I would rather buy from them because of the service I have had from them. Will it be just as good or better than the HPI TF-40? I would rather upgrade the radio gear or replace it with something the same spec/quality as the original
  6. Ok I will adjust it and see if that makes a difference, I will also try securing the motor cables to the rear brace. I am begining to think its a problem with either the transmitter or the recciver now. I think I will replace them both. Do you have any reccomendations on what set to get? Should I just go for the HPI TF 40 again or are there better sets for the similar money? I changed the whole recciver for one without a damaged aerial
  7. My WR8 has always had the white bit of the aerial hanging out of the end of the aerial tube like the picture below. Should I adjust it so that its not like this?

Yeah I have tried this and it hasn't made a difference Areal is fine, its in the standard tube thats on the electric's box. before I had a bit of wire sticking out the top of the areal tube, I don't think there is as much now. Should that make a difference? I will re adjust it and see. Thanks for all the suggestions guys

  10. Sorry I haven't worded that well at all. I meant to say that I had snapped the wire on my receiver and changed it for a new one and I am having problems with the new one. What happened was the steering on my transmitter broke. I had a spare transmitter but when I opened up the electrics box to bind the new transmitter to my receiver I managed to snap the aerial wire on the receiver. I then replaced the receiver with a spare I had, but now with the different receiver and transmitter I seem to be having the problems described above. It

I just changed the tx and rx in my WR8 since my transmitter broke and I snapped the wire on my receiver, since doing that my car keeps stopping and then going again once it gets a bit further away. It will run quite happy close by but as soon as it goes about 20 meters or so away it will randomly stop for 20 seconds or so and then start going again even if you don't walk closer to the car. Is there something else other than binding the two together that needs done? I have re calibrated the ESC aswell. Both the tx and rx are second hand so I am wondering if there is a problem with one of them. If I have to get new radio gear does any one have any suggestions for an upgrade? I have the TF 40 gear in it just now
  12. I have this charger and if I remember rightly (its been a while since is used it) storage charging only charges at 1 or 2 amps and that's why it takes a lot longer.

  14. Yeah that does help, Thanks! Did the mount you are using come with the camera? When the camera is mounted to the roof do you still see the front of the car in the video? I had mine mounted in a similar spot on the roof and if I wanted the bonnet in the video I had to angle it down too much and you couldn't really see much in the video. Also do you notice any handling side effects with the camera on the roof? Mine felt like it was more inclined to roll when cornering.
  15. Yeah I have seen the video's but its hard to see where you mounted the camera. Do you have a picture or video of the car with the camera mounted on it?
  16. Nice! Thanks for the video! That keyboard is cool I will need to get one eventually lol. In the meantine I have an old saitek Eclipse 2 keyboard that i am using. Have you got any video's of the micro rs4 running? Anyway back on topic, has anyone mounted a go pro style camera to a WR8 while keeping the shell on? The only place I could really see to mount it was the roof or the bonnet. If its mounted on the roof it affects the car a bit and its more likely to roll, but if its mounted on the bonnet you dont really et to see the front of the car while its running, unless the camera is poining towards the ground. I would be interested to see how others have mounted it.
  17. Do you need a big space for the Micro RS4? It only the room required thats putting me off, I don't want to spend the money to find out its no use in my small house lol. Sorry going off topic a bit here but what model of keeyboard is that? Are the backlights on the individual keys programmable? Could you light up WASD in a differnent colour to the rest of the keys? I was looking at the Corsair K90 RGB but its a bit too dear really!
  18. You might get lucky with the original shell mgozzz, I just managed to get a new unused one for the collection. Sonicr360 is that a micro RS4? I thought about one for the house in winter but thought it might be a bit powerful for indoors. Oh and nice keyboard!
  19. The 2014 Livery isn't bad but I think the one in your pic Sonicr360 is the best. I guess it gets harder every year to keep designing good different liverys. I will still prob buy the 2014 shell once its finally realesed to add to the collection. The problem I have is I never want to run the dam shells because they look so good! hahaha.   23. Nice! I wish I had a mint shell The other half won't let me spend that much on lexan lol Nice! I wonder when we will see those wheels. I am still waiting on my GRC shell its been on order since July
  24. I got my wheels and tyres yesterday. They seem pretty good! I need to get some glue and see how good they are. I might actually glue these to a set of the fifteen 52 wheels that way I can still have the wheels to match the shell when off road.
