  1. I've had similar experiences on two separate orders that were sorted very quickly. Really good service
  2. Yeah. I think there 25's. Iv ordered a 25 and a 24. Just in case. Cheers for your help. Should be problem solved now.
  3. Right. Think I'll get a couple of those metal inserts ordered then. So is it just a matter of pulling out the old plastic part and replacing with the metal part? Throttle servo is just a prolux s9005
  4. Whats the difference with the gen 3 tray? Chris, I spotted those little metal inserts. Is it just a matter of pulling out the worn plastic ones and pushing the new metal ones in? So is there no aluminium servo horns that would work?
  5. The servo horn on my throttle servo is starting to slip. It looks like the plastic teeth are slightly rounded off. Losi servo horns have quite wide holes for the links to slot into like this And I can't find any replace servo horns with holes as big as that. I know I could just drill bigger holes but I'd prefer not to. Is there any other horns that suit the losi 8?
  6. Nook is good. Just off m1 junction 41
  7. Yeah. I thought so. If you end up splitting let me know
  8. I know you probably wouldn't want to split but id take the tires if there in good condition

    RX/TX

Receiver from my hobao rtr transmitter has died. So does anyone have a spare 2.4ghz hobao receiver? Or Does any one have a spare decent rx/tx? Budget around
  10. Cheers Barry. I think I know where you mean
  11. Where abouts on Doncaster road is that Barry?
  12. Pretty sure it's the same flywheel as yours!! Little blue one? Got it starter earlier just by pressing down really hard and loosening the glow plug. If we have the same mounts and the same flywheel, it must be that your starter box is better suited.
  13. I'll take a look at the size of my flywheel today. I'll try measure it. The starter wheel seems ok
  14. Are you using standard engine mounts? Have you got a link for the losi flywheel?
  15. The starter wheel is not actually that far off. The hole in the chassis doesn't really look big enough for use with a starter box. And after doing a small amount of research, I'm not confident I can find a compatible lower profile mount. So here's what I'm thinking. I think I'm going to go for a stock hyper flywheel and file out the opening slightly. I'll be fine removing the flywheel I think. But replacing the clutch looks harder. Any tips without using a clutch removal tool?
  16. Or are they lower profile than stock hyper ones?
  17. Yeah. I was studying the engine last night and looking for solutions and decided that the stock hyper engine mounts must be the highest around. Neil, those engine mounts look like the ones I have already!
  18. I wondered about filing the flywheel opening on the chassis to allow the starter box wheel to get further in. Is that likely to work?
  19. I've mentioned this in another thread but I wondered if anyone had any ideas. I've fitted my new engine (novarossi nitrotek) to my hyper 7 and the starter box wheel doesn't rotate the flywheel as the flywheel is too high. Is there any easier methods than buying a bigger flywheel. Heard there a pain to remove! Cheers in advance
  20. So, the engine arrived and i got it fitted straight to the buggy. There's only one problem so far. The flywheel doesn't touch the starter box wheel. I'm guessing that means I need a bigger flywheel. Am I right or is there another way?
  21. Might have to invest in a engine preheated then maybe. Engine hasn't arrived yet! [emoji20]
  22. Its not new. Not get it yet so not entirely sure on the condition. So, how important is it to preheat before starting? This is something Iv never done before, other than when breaking in
