  1. Cheers Mike. anybody else have any opinions on this?
  2. What glow plug is recommended for these engines? I keep hearing os p3 but is a hot plug still good in summer weather? Cheers
  3. Just been playing. I'll add you when I'm next on
  4. Just started it but really enjoying it so far. Any one else playing it?
  5. These still for sale? Think your inbox is full
  6. Cheers. I'll take a look
  7. New style preferably. Anyone got one for sale?
  8. Might have have to try it out here myself
  9. Forgot to mention that they all all the bottles are Schumacher oils which I believe are not supposed to be coloured.
  10. I have recently ordered some shock oil from a eBay shop that's was a mixture a new and party used bottles. Most of the bottles are perfectly transparent and clear but 2-3 bottles are yellow. The oil is still totally clear but quite discoloured in comparison. So my question is, can shock oil discolour over time? Or do the yellow bottles have used oil in?
  11. Could it be that the steering servo is pushing the servo tray away therefore pulling the throttle out slightly? Check the end points and make sure the tray is screwed in properly
  12. I'll give you an update on the jq when I give it its second run out on Sunday. There's a uk stockist and parts are relatively cheap. Iv only had experience with 5 1/8th buggies but I reckon this is going to be my fave
  13. Just got a jq. Only used it once but my first impression were really good
  14. Buggy is a jq yellow edition. The seller was a racer. Never used for bashing. The track I race at has plenty of sharp turns and iv always understood a lighter oil in the front would be best for this. Strangely, it goes round the track really nicely
  15. Recently bought a second hand 1/8th scale buggy. The diff's and shocks have just been fully rebuilt by the seller so I thought I would stick with them for awhile but the set up he used surprised me. He refilled 8k in the front, 6k in the centre and 3k in the rear. It might just be inexperience on my part but iv never hear of 8k in the front. What would this set up be good for? Cheers
  16. Yeah. I never order rc screws. Normally just check the manuals for the size and length. Just couldn't find this one. They were m4x16 in the end
  17. Mentioned in another thread that I had a faulty receiver from hobby king. It was a really frustrating slow process. I'm not sure even they fully understand the returns system. On the live chat, one person told me I needed to start an RMA. One told me I needed to open a case on their 24hour support and another told me I needed to request a specialist evaluation or something! To be fair, we got there in the end. I just think there over complicating things
  18. Anyone ever used these tyres? They seem like a good price. http://vppro.co.uk/index.php?route=product/category&path=59_60
  19. Got mine from hobby king yesterday. Went to bind it to my transmitter. Plugged in the battery (the correct way round) and it went pop. Glad it was only cheap. Let's test out hobby kings customer service now
  20. You could move the better of the two servos that you already have onto throttle and put the above savox onto steering. But again, depends on budget
  21. You wanting to upgrade both throttle and steering? What is your budget?
