  1. First two attempts are ok... Then the rest are annoying... Fiddly things
  2. There were hubs just listed on fleebay. Not sure if they are still there A forum is about everyone helping each other. I am asking advice and if I am given the wrong advice it is not very useful. I am quite happy to say I know nothing about charging lipos I wired the whole of my house and can do auto electrics... But being new to this hobby I wanted to ensure I was doing everything correctly
  3. So a quad charger that will charge the lipos in an hour seems the best choice I don't want to skimp but same time don't need something ott
  4. Ah I thought you charged before use. If that is the case then charge time is not so important I guess Even though if I did need to charge again then an hour would be handy This is all new to me.
  5. Was advised to go with 2 x 2s batteries Then buy 4 of them which should give me a decent run time So guess a quad charger, and guess one that I can charge batteries an hour before I go bashing as you usually do it that way? I am new to electric and li-po I have brushless drills etc but just charge when go flat lol
  6. This will be my only brushless car. I have an emb-1 but have a smaller charger for them lipos So just something to charge the lipos for the trophy flux
  7. Just trying to confuse me now So which one that I can use that is simple lol
  8. It's all good now guys. He has apologised for whatever he said. Good man I understand he was only trying to help So what charger would be best suited for me? Thanks
  9. Hyper 7 nitro I have. Hence why the brushless truggy
  10. Well between the two bashers I hope two sets of lipos will be adequate. Last time we went bashing we managed to break 4 of them. Nothing major but it stopped us running any longer. Two nitro and two brushless. I only broke the pull start on mine but never had a spare with me Think one of the guys has a field charger if we go anywhere I am in no big rush to buy. I want to get it right the first time. I will be away on holiday to thailand in just over a week and I am away for a few weeks so won't have much time to play before then anyway
  11. Cheers for the info, no point buying a charger that is useless only to buy another Will probably buy two sets of batteries. Should give me adequate run time then I have the nitro hyper 7 to bash with and this so best of both worlds in my opinion
  12. Cheers dude Very helpful I best start shopping... I will check the lipo charger I have to see what spec it is. Was only cheap though so doubt it will be any good for these batteries
  13. Ah thought so... Just they usually look different. Unless I was thinking of something else Is it easier to make up a deans connection to a traxxas male in order to use different batteries or just stick with one type of connection and solder them all myself?
  14. Ha ha. Reading that made me laugh, lots Had to read a few times as kept forgetting Anyway... I can solder the batteries. Just need to know what ones to buy The hop ups were
  15. They had deans connectors in the pic but traxxas ones turned up :-(
  16. Modelsport for the truggy and most of the hop ups Couple of hop ups on fleebay. One is
  17. Trophy truggy flux... Best place to buy? Would rather buy all the bits from one place but parts are cheaper if you shop around Batteries and charger from where?
  18. Be good to see a video I almost bought one but saving up for a truggy
  19. Yeah might just buy it and then stuff if and when I break something. What charger and battery you running?
  20. Well don't know whether to do hop ups first or when something breaks. Seems silly replacing new parts straight away
