I read the open source works with mavlink, is that main difference compared to closed.? also, I see the cx20 advertises 4 channels whilst the nova advertises 7 channels.. how is this if machine the same? cheers for help guys

so theres no differences at all between these two or the cx20s with diff prices?

hi guys ive been looking thru the forum and see most of u have said that the cx20 and nova are the same machine, what accounts for the 100£ iffernce in prices between the 2, ive seen cx20 for 200 or nearest offer but on same audction site the nova is 300...also is there any difference between the cx20 on the site, some say open source, some say auto pathfinder.. and once again large difference in prices...do I need to soend the extra money/? thx bjsparks

hi mate would it be possible to get some close ups of electrics etc, this is a lot of money for whats shown here imho but if u could get some decent pics and maybe bit more info would consider making an offer, I do agree with above tho, apart from cars/electrics the rest is of minimal value. thx gl

do u get the same sort of speed and range out of the hubsanx4 that u do the quanum nova?.. aslo whats the difference between the cheerson and nova they look fairly similar>? cheers guys

hi guys am quite a keen modeller, cars , gliders , electric planes and am looking to try a quadcopter, I know not a lot about them but have seen an original phantom and was impressed, the auto hovering. the returning to base and change of controls plus video. so what do I need to spend new and second hand to get something of similar abilitys and what makes / models would u suggest? ive seen 50 quid ones in shop, what do these do diff to phantoms etc? specifics please guys many thx bj

yes I haven't found a link for that part, but I could do with speeding up pit stop times thx for the idea tho, will maybe try something like that, have some meccano spare lol, what are the parts called that the body mounts attach too? cheers guys

ok, yep u guys are right, ta-01... had a look online this is what I meant about battery holder... anyone seen this before or have one? gaz,. yes started from scratch cleaned and greased diffs, bearings in, will prob lock out rear after saying that as going to be a drifter.. did u have any body mounts?, this cars for my kid so trying to keep cost down, the link sunny sent was good but had no mounts and already 13 quid. cheers guys bj

hi guys, been making a tl01 from spare parts, need a couple of parts to finish it , a set of rear body mounts and a the bit they fit onto if available,, also its a metal chassis, doesn't have the plastic tray (don't know if its different type of tl-01) but need like a horizontal battery mount.. any of these much appreciated.. thx bjsparks

ok no worries guys , sorted it didn't realise theres an alan bolt inside the cup which goes right thru to other cup (id looked in one end but not other).. anyway opens out and is a ball diff. id only seen the diffs with screws b4. cheers

hi guys got my first hyper 10 recently and wanted to lcok out the back diff. for drifting , after eventually getting it out cant see how the diff comes apart or even if it can be locked... can anyon help out? cheers bj

hi guys any help here ive bought a plane which is obviously second hand from hk , anyway the rudder doesn't seem to have the correct movement, the hinge runs where it should but then horizontal across top of rudder, this seems to stop fluid movement and also tries to bend top of tail where hinge woyuld extend too if it went straight up. is this correct?

hi guys have a couple of the older Tamiya cars abnd haven't had much feedback as to wether or not they can be used for drifting, so picked up some hard plastic wheels and now want to now as per the drifting thread.. when did they start bringing out camber adjustments for the Tamiya cars or at least a mod to allow this(and what mods).. im talking tl01 ta01 ta02 or is it more recent..does the 2 degree camber make that much more to the drift? cheers guys

we rent a sports hall once a week so its not official racing, just put down tug of war ropes etc. the budget not really relevant as this was the drifting selection on thus site and is basically free as points , think it worked out 70 for kit or 140
