Ah it's cool guys, I'm not here to argue with anybody , although I do find myself getting a little bit excitable over this thing lol . An yes this will be the first time I've taken a second job to fund a rc , so i think you could say I want one .

Mate you obviously havent taken on board anything I've said , I've havent said anything to put the truck down, an I'm still planning on ordering one once funds are available , I've actually applied for a second job to fund it lol .

Agreed if it's down traxxas using low quality metals in the sintered mixing stage, then that should be addressed an free upgrades made available [emoji2] . I replaced the idler gear in my savage xl maybe 3-4 times an it really did become a bit of a ballache in the end , not the fiver for the part .

The leaking shocks was the first issue with this truck I believe , so thought it was ironic the shocks are the first item on the spares list and ring gear just a little further down the list lol .

The ring gear is listed on the modelsport web page at 6 quid something , it's on the first page of spares , the shocks are the first item on the list lol .

The ring gear is six quid when available, an it may still be a one off , people that pre-ordered over here got a hundred quid off the truck so I'd take that if it happened to me , especially the abuse it took , I'm surprised nothing else broke .

I've only run the 2s purple soft packs , but have no issues , I tried a couple of traxxas packs my mate had an couldn't tell any difference in performance , the traxxas packs lasted longer only because they were higher mah !

Yep I completely agree with you mate, that if someone is going to run it on 6s, as it should be, regularly then they should really be looking at aftermarket machined diffs when available ! Still it hasn't put me off, its a fantastic truck , I'm just [emoji18] I got to wait few months till I can get my mitts on one lol .

Hpi only 'sorted' it , by offering bulletproof diffs that were not bulletproof and cost a fortune. Traxxas will do the same with this .

Same with Hpi on the last xl , sintered diffs ie chocolate teapot !

Must mt's I see on the market are old nitro designs that manufacters have adapted for electric power , this is at least a new platform to start from [emoji2]
