  1. You'll find that battery tray is too close to the cog on the centre diff, itll rip a nice hole in the battery tray, closely followed by the battery. And i just doubled up battery straps in a daisy chain to go around both batteries, side by side in the tray. You can get 4 s's that will fit, approx 5000mah. if your still in need of straps, hobbyking do turnigy ones which arent actually velcro, but are velcro, which are plenty long enough and strong enough
  2. Oh so that's what the nitro mode in the esc was for!
  3. If you've got a tenner I've got nearly a gallon of Nitro fuel that needs to go kinda hard filling a brushless up with nitro Fuel
  4. As long as it's dry I should be up with the tamiya have a break from packing the house up to move lol
  5. I'm still 50-50 on this, but we'll see, i may bring mine up with a single battery pack... I may even bring the baby 1:10 tamiya, we shall see!
  6. I just charge the batteries on balance until approx 3.85v per cell, then pop it on storage charge so it can just flit a little, usually only takes a couple of mins on storage then. At least the entire process happens 5x faster (5A charge compared to 1A storage charge)
  7. You must have screwed a lot, it might be all screwed out and useless. Have you been doing too much DIY! Oh god I should stop
  8. 3mm hexes in both bones and cups and the other ones cvd's?
  9. Well this thread deviated well. Lol. I have bones and cups on one axle, i know that much! I might have a look before work today if I get my arse out of bed early enough!. Also I wouldn't wear a cup playing cricket, I wouldn't play cricket, anyway we said there's no screw if you use a cup, I'd also rather screw, so it's decided.
  10. Bah humbug! I'll have a look for a hex on the middle, if not it looks like it's going in a vice! It's a hyper 7.5 technically, so it may have the hexes, i'll have another poke around when i get home from work
  11. As the title suggests, I'm having trouble removing the hexes from my hyper 7, the problem is the pin that goes through the hex is stuck in completely on 3/4 of the hubs. One hub i can get the pin out, to remove the hex and its thread, but the other 3 just won't budge! Any ideas on this? I'm going to try soaking them in wd-40 overnight but other than that i'm stuck, i've tried driving a small (broken) screwdriver into the holes to push the pins out that way, but because it spins you can't really get a good shove on them, even when one person holds the hex and the other whacks the driver. It's a minor detail, but one of my wheel bearings is squeeking so i'd like to inspect it and re-grease it but i can't with the hexes stuck on .
  12. A bearing set for a hyper 7.5 (no idea if its any different to the 7) Wheel bearings and diff bearings please (brushless so no nitro bearings needed) How much? Ta
  13. Get used to the alarms being a pain in the backside, but battery savers all the same! I had to get used to these, mine cuts in at 3.5v per cell, but it also cuts in on full throttle when getting near that value, when you go over a jump, when there's a sudden vibration in the chassis, when you look at it wrong, when it decides to work its way loose on the connector etc. But yeah, i just wait until the alarm goes off constantly when the car is at rest for 2min, that's usually 3.5v, then if i drive it back to the car (being lazy) it'll drop down to 3.3v really quickly.
  14. For some reason the text size changed halfway through that post, strange!
  15. I have got to say I'm also the play station generation but there's no reason to make up your own spellings for words. Even if it's a single letter shorter. Iirc even phones nowadays have a full keyboard so having to press 7 four times is not a problem. Take it from the other end of the stick, I'm dyslexic and it took me literally twice as long to read it. Also completly missing words out of a sentence *No decides to threate me.so I said causing no bother.* read that out of context and it makes no sense. Anyway, just a bit of forum etiquette. On to the noise issue. Just record anything that happens on your phone, if he comes out with a hammer, he gets a warning the second time he does it iirc it's 3 months inside (same for knife crime) If not, just smile and blow him a kiss, then convert to brushless and everyone will be happy
  16. There's steps on the corner of laurel drive (look on street view) then carry on around to the road on the right. the first two houses sum things up, but it looks "nice" on streetview

  18. I'm all up for old school toys and things. But these guys literally think they own the road. Who'd let their kids roll down the street on their sides laid down... and not stop when cars come down the street. (And it's not like this is a dead end culdesack I'm talking about neither Or leave their bike in the middle of the road (I say their bike, I'm sure that used to be my bike) lol But won't pick it up so you can get past. I'm sure it's just a ploy to steal your car when you get out to move it. In all seriousness. I'm a local and I've lived here all my life, (not in that estate) and I wouldn't Park my car there overnight Also as crossers are concerned the coppers only used to stop them by parking say 100m from the exits and once they came off and rode on the road home. Fair game! Next time I'm down there I'll take a pic of the estate for you
  19. Pics taken one after another from the same spot, turning anti-clockwise
  20. I go to a bashing site near where i live (technically within walking distance for me), its good, it used to be used my motorbikes with jumps etc, but since the police started taking them away from utter chavs, it goes un-used lots. It is now used by what looks like people on pushbikes, its derelict land, nobody maintains it, but it has plenty of jumps and is out of the way of people+cars. The big problem, which i need your thoughts on is. It is off one of the roughest most run down council estates this area has, and at a blink of an eyelid not just the contents of a bashers 1:1 car will be removed, the entire car could go missing. That and the only parking for this place is on the actual council estate. I don't want to arrange a bash up there, because the possibility of someone being silly and leaving a valuable on view, or leaving a rc car in the boot is high, and the chance of that going missing while bashing is also high as you are out of eyesight and ear-reach of the cars. Do you think it is wise to arrange a bash here? It's a cracking spot, brilliant fun, i'll get some pictures up later. I've never had problems going up there, with 1 or 2 people, but we always make sure to not have valuables on view etc.
