Cheers guys just ordered some parts from asiatees. Was tempted to order the lot but read that to much alloy is not good. Takes all the flex out of the car and ruins handling. Plus it adds weight. Can anyone back this up?

hi ive finally finished reading this thread lols got a dilemma. ive got a bullet st 3.0 looking to upgrade to alloy parts i'm looking at asiatees or integy but really cant decide?! the integy look stronger but the asiatees are way cheaper. has anyone used either or both? Advice needed!!!!!

All sorted runs great now just seems a lot deeper sounding than before??? slight prob hit a bump sent it cart wheeling down the road lol. Now The rear shock tower smashed luckily I can make one out of alloy. Be the first of many I reckon. Thanks again for the help guys. Pete

Success!! I stripped the engine and carb down found a tiny piece of plastic inside the carb!? Plus some bubbling to the plastic inside the carb so I drilled it smooth. I switched to the hpi fuel as I think the model technics sh** was partly to blame and it runs!! Only prob is I snapped the flywheel bolt so got one on order. Hopefully it'll all be good once fitted. It won't even start now mate. But when it was it ran ok for about 15 mins seemed a bit sluggish then kept cutting like it was cold until it just wouldn't start. thought it was the glow plug so put a new one in set back to factory and wouldn't start. I do know about engines but this has got me stumped Pete

No all good nothing changed don't understand it. All I can think is the engine might be damaged but no idea how to check it?

I was given an acme cyclone DIY kit a while back. Had loads of fun building it and Had it running a while to great success. But the other day it kept cutting out until I just couldn't get it started again! I've tried retuning it from factory settings to no avail. How can I tell if the engines damaged? I'm desperate to get it running again so I can give it to my step son. (Really don't want to let him lose on my bullet st Lols. Any help would be great Pete

I'm having the same problem. Got into nitro a few months ago got myself a bullet st and absolutely loving it! The problem is I'm new to the area and struggling to find somewhere to use it. Any more Crawley guys out there? Maybe we could arrange something? Pete
