  1. i got a TC-4 Factory team and i think its brilliant, handles superb, about 10x better than my mission ever did
  2. personally, i prefer to look after my tranny and RX batteries by slow charging them at 100-500mAh, theres no point risking the lives of them just so they charger a bit quicker, its not like you need great performance out of them. as for the voltage, i let my charger decide
  3. depends really, scooters i've found you can crank them up and fly off if you really want to, while bigger 4 cylinder bikes are a bit more a of a pain. But TBH, whatever engine, whether it be my car, bike or RC. They need to reach running temp before they get some stick. sorry for the double post BTW
  4. I agree, with small engines you notice the performance drop when they are cold, you need to get them to near running temperature before they will start to run correctly. Any bike runs lumpy as hell when you first start it. If its starting fine the choke could well be working, but you'll soon find out when winter comes around
  5. I found putting oil in the cylinder and on the piston/ring usefull, as it makes it easier to get the piston back in the cylinder. The engine will act like new compression wise, but theres a limited amount of times you can replace the rings as the bore will gradually get wider over time.
  6. RTR rascal still up for sale although its now on ebay.
  7. mice don't work, i've tried, but any usb keyboard will work
  8. best thing to do when you put the glowstarter on, is twist it so you know its making good contact. like the cotton bud idea though
  9. Was gonna go to Modelsport today to get some 25% for the savage, but i thought might aswell go 5 miles to the nearest shop rather than 35. I walk in and ask the nice bloke for 25%, he said he didn't have any as he never got asked for it. Then proceeded to tell me it would wear my engine drastically and he wouldn't dream of using 25% on any engine and offered to sell me a gallon of 16%, started going on again talking to me like i didn't know my ear hole from my A-hole until eventually i said No Thanks and walked out. I mean nobody likes to be told how to run their nitro car, especially when they act like a total [CENSORED] Then i rang my mate up who told me about another place up the road, so i went to that store, went upstairs to find a massive collection of models, spares and a massive rack of nitro fuel that went right up to 35%. And when i asked him about the fuel he says he gets loads of people asking for it, especially people who race or have big blocks. Then proceeded to tell him about the old bloke down the road, which made him chuckle. It just goes to show that the old dude needs to get with the times, higher percentage will technically wear my engine faster than say 20% but not by a noticeable amount, TBH, you smash the thing up before the engine gets anywhere near dead You don't really buy a big block to run it on 16%
  10. pfft, GCSE's arn't even that important, nevermind SATS. Then again if you dont get good GCSE results your screwed for a job/college. I went straight into an apprenticeship, although i get paid stupid amounts for going to college, its still rock hard on the Maths and science front.

  18. Nah, i don't venture much outside West Yorkshire, only place i go in the North is Selby, and less said about that place the better But if you wanna come down to Xscape in Castleford you can come for a bash, aslong as you can handle 3 savages

  20. This is a Creative Zen 20gb which is boxed, with everything, cables, charger etc. It will hold pictures as well as music for viewing due to its colour screen. The headphones are still in the wrapping untouched as you can see The zen itself is in immaculate condition as its been kept in its velvet pouch 99% of the time. £80 + £5 P&P (recorded)
  21. aslong as power is applied gradually i can't see there being any problems at all. Everyone assumes a powerfull engine is a bad thing. The idea of a throttle, is to throttle the power, thats what its for. It seems the basic principal is sometimes overlooked, fair enough with a .28 you can slam open the throttle and watch it fly, but its much more fun to try and tame the beast. If i booted my escort day in day out i'm sure the driveshafts and gearbox would take a beating and it wouldn't last too long either.
  22. i don't see the point in selling the engine, i might aswell use it and abuse it then go for an STS. I'll just have to be carefull with the power, more so until i get a wheelie bar.
  23. Second Rascal is still up for grabs people.
