  2. Wanted to change voltage of my castle bec. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Hi, I now have a Max8 esc which has an internal bec capable of outputting 7.4v. I also have a high voltage servo capable of receiving 7.4v. I have FlySky 3 channel RXs; is it just a case of wiring it all up as normal or will the rx fry with 7.4v going through it? And if so, what’s the point of high voltage becs in an esc? I have a castle bec so can use that if not, but the esc would be cleaner. Thanks, Mike Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Hi, Looking for a set of wheels/tyres to fit a 1/8 truggy. Open to a set of “race” type spikes and / or heavier bashing sets eg badlands. 17mm hex. Cheers, Mike Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Yes steering and open to what you have! The Tekno guidance is 300oz/in torque. Not fussed on brand particularly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Looking for a good spec servo for a 1/8 Truggy. Metal geared, high torque, decent speed etc. Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Sold Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Cool. I’ll take it. PM me your details for payment. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. This will do a lower kv motor on 6s too? As long as it does, I’ll take it. Starting to collect parts for my Tekno build! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Hey. Yes all instructions, spare parts from the build and spares from upgraded. The esc has bullets on it. There’s a 3rd channel switch in there somewhere for the lights too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I think I’d have to make a new floor without footwells and then cut off the seats etc from the interior and mount them on the new floor. Unfortunately I got annoyed and decided to heavily tint the windows in order to just not put in the interior then realised it didn’t have side windows so that’s a bad idea all round. Going to concentrate on getting the body done first! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Good job there. What is the truck? Have you put the interior in? On my Ascender the motor assembly is stopping me putting in the interior. I’m just going to go ahead without it for now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Yeah it was bigger than I expected. Plus there’s some big fields around for general fun. Some guys were flying huge planes and heli’s nearby too. Camera angle probably makes it look bigger, but still pretty big. Here’s the website http://www.remoteworld.co.uk/index.htm Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Update - one Lipo has definitely got to go, so only 1 with it now. Also - Bump! Offers welcome. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Today’s find: Not really a find as it is a dedicated rc track, but I’d never been there before. It’s in Slough, so 30 mins plus away, but looked pretty cool. No car with me but I gather it is council land so can be used by anyone so worthwhile going back. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I can include 2 x lipos but not sure on shipping them, plus one is a bit puffy but I still use it no problems. No tx, but can leave the flysky rx in there if needed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Hey, just put mine up for sale here
  18. Hi All, Looking to fund something else (Tekno T48.3) so offering up my Yeti that I built from kit and then bolted on lots of hop-ups. It's in good condition overall, but used so normal wear and tear etc. Shell has one small split in it, but overall in good nick, wheels have some cracks as per picture below - just pointing out all the negatives!. Upgrades include Proline shocks, boom racing bellcrank, red aluminium chassis components including arms, motor mounts, sways, c-hubs, knucklearms etc, heavy duty rear axles, beef tubes, metal shafts, full stainless steel screw set. Also a light bar and front spots all able to run direct from 3s on a third channel. It runs a Hobbywing combo WP=SC8 and EZrun 3400kv, so great on 3s and a Savox servo (I thin a 1256). I replaced & upgraded what broke (along with a load of stuff that didn't!) so this is solid now. Plus I've got all the old bits that came off, many are fine to use again. Pricing is difficult, but I've spent well over £800 on this (yikes!), so I'm thinking £400 posted.
  19. As above, looking for one of these. I have an Axial Yeti and Vaterra Ascender which could be traded as well if of interest. Cheers, Mike
  20. Beaconsfield has a pub! Not sure what for given that it is a motorway service! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. It's a "Forestry Commission-approved bike park" http://hodgemoor.org.uk/
  22. I like the look of the Tekno's - sooo much money though not sure I can justify it. If i was going to spend that much, would the ET48 1/8 Truggy work somewhere like this? thinking of long-term versatility. And yes, there do seem to be a couple for sale recently and perhaps people can't justify the expense? I haven't heard many negative stories though. Actually, just realised you sold one recently Tanveer - should have bought yours! ST Pro Truggy conversion is a good shout; maybe with a decent second hand one it would keep the costs down. Although I think ultimately part supply is king and the Tekno's look OK from RPRC distribution. I'll have to have a think!
  23. Any suggestions for something solid with good parts supply? Ideally truggy but MT may be ok. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Ha, no sorry it’s near Beaconsfield in Buckinghamshire. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. You’ll find a big set of gnarly bike jumps 10 minutes drive away, woo hoo! According to the only rider I saw there, they aren’t busy and aren’t very good, so sounds perfect to me. Plus there’s a few routes with smaller jumps and berms etc around them. So this begs the question, what to get to bash there? I don’t really have a strong jump machine; thinking a Tekno MT, but will 1/8 scale be better? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
