I would like to buy a roller as obviously I would have a base to work on. Would save me the tension of sourcing stock losi parts. Most likely deal should go through & I should have a 5ive next week

Dont see the point in buying new as price is way too much, I know I will swap out 90% of the parts anyway & freshen it up lol, so currently in a deal with a fellow member for a great condition roller. If that goes through the upgrades, dual steering etc will follow the next min

update: Went for something different out the three in the poll bought a fullmod rcmk 30.5cc with a vrc (losi) powermaster pipe kicks out 7.5hp at 19k revs with 4lbs of torque. It will be going into a 5ive when I get one, but if that does not happen will stick it in this baja with a kraken class 1. Really want a 5ive though but trying to get one is like a needle in a haystack.

I found that when bolted tight enough on the engine I didn't really need to mount it in front, but then again if it went smack it would probs rip the engine out.

After watching couple video's, reading reviews by other's on forums I think it was the perfect engine at the sweet price point, bang for the buck deal with the powermaster vrc pipe. It will be perfect for the 5ive when I get one, 7.5hp at 19k rpm & 4pounds of torque, you cant really say no. Pro mx seems wicked too but after customs charges this one will be around the same price as a pro mx butttt I will have a powermaster vrc pipe with it.

rcmk 30.5cc full mod or pro mx 30.5cc ? Just had a quick look around for the rcmk & their seem to be pretty good reviews for it & it looks like the best bang for the buck at it price range for 7.5hp's at 19,000 rpm & a mind boggling 4pounds of torque, might just order it

Turns out the rear plate replacement was piece of cake, just had to put it on its backside, unscrew all the screws, slide the old plate out & slide the new one in, threadlock & rescrew. Stinking km chassis really need's to go, will be in with a new kraken x3 or irc enclosed.

Got the goodies from ddm: First thoughts? Wow, has been machined beautifully & the plate is ridiculously thick. It's been overdone & I dont see why their will ever be a v3 v4 versions when this is slickk! It has been polished to an inch of its life, does not feel that heavy at all. I don't think this area of the Baja will ever break or need to be changed. Sadly I dont have time to dismantle the whole rear end & reassemble when their will be a new engine & kraken x3 chassis coming soon so I will do it when I get those bits.

Nearly 4 baja's my god, try get all of them together in one picture. The current state's will be interesting to compare & see.

you'll find em on ebay mate saw ones for 20-30$$ posted. (Yes the rear ones) Don't see any being sold in uk

7.5hp obr is winning it for me especially it being 27.2cc for the higher revs. It's out of stock atm contacted obr to see how long the wait is.

Let you know when it gets here, I wanted to get rid of the KM rear orangy chassis anyway so this was perfect, needed something nice for the new engine to sit on (Will get one ordered soon so frikin confused about which one too many choices) If the rear chassis was 80quid like here in the UK I would have never got it, but you can't say no to $50
