So I'm guessing the brass connector is a lot wider to solder the cable too?

Hi Everyone I am currently using XT60 connectors on my current batteries and ESC however I've just got some new 4s Batteries but the connectors are way too small to accommodate the cables. What connectors are recommended for 4S batteries? Thanks Rob

I'm using xt60's, good idea on just cutting and soldering one wire at a time. Will give it a go tomorrow.

I want to change the terminal connector on my 2s batteries, now do I need to discharge the battery or just leave it charged at storage voltage? Or does it not matter full stop? Thanks Rob

Went with XC60 connectors, easy enough to solder and heat shrink as well. First time I've ran the lipos in the firestorm and was really surprised on the improvement. Now just to switch to brushless

There is a clip on YouTube with an American bloke with a video on how this charger works and what settings. Certainly looks safe enough for a some wanting to switch to lipo

Well I've bought XT60 & EC5 connectors so I guess I'll see what I fancy when they turn up Also, is it safe enough to swap the connector on the overlander charger cable to match?

So reading the posts I guess it's really personal preference however stay away from tamiya connections.

Are the deans Battery connectors easy to swap over to?

I have just purchased some Lipo turnigy batteries and before I start swapping all the battery and ESC terminals, I just wonder what seems to be the best connection to be using? I will be moving over to the brushless motor and ESC soon as it arrives shortly and I've heard stories of connector melting due to extra heat etc so I thought I'd ask your opinions. Thanks Rob.
