  1. I check tower before I ordered from Germany, $499 for outcast $83 shipping -$71 for discount code that works out £416 then the taxes, would be cheaper for me to buy of modelsport. How did you get it so cheap?
  2. I'll not worry about it, the knuckles and caster blocks and arms all came in a pack for the same price that I seen knuckles on their own. While it was stripped down I put all the new parts on
  3. Fixed the dogbone issue and took it a spin without the shell and snapped the shock tower in half, this truck isn't for me lol braking force must be set to 100% as hitting the brake results in front flipping which had the body posts hit the ground and snapping the shock tower, on the plus side front and rear shock tower are only around £6 for both. Also fitted aluminium arms and knuckles from and back
  4. That's my problem the dogbone keeps falling out then chewing the knuckle up but I've seen the problem, the dogbones have too much movement in and out of the cups. My solution was to pack out the cup coming from the diff with washers, I got thin washers from work the are the exact size to fit in. If you pack the diff side it pushes the dogbones further into the cup at the wheel. Without packing the cup if you turn your wheels full lock you can see the bone nearly coming out of the cup closest to the wheel
  5. Cheers, just ordered some as the cups came today with no o rings
  6. Cheers guys, I late in reading these posts and have already ordered 2 cups that should be delivered today
  7. What's the name off that wheel and tyre combo
  8. I've just bought my mates bullet St flux for £50, he only used it twice and broke it second outing breaking the front steering knuckle. He had it fixed for me buying it but there was a few washers and things missing that I have replaced. I've noticed a lot of movement in the front dog bone so stripped it down and noticed that the drive cups all have rubber washer in the but I'm 1 missing at the front, it doesn't mention the washer in the manual unless it's part of the cup, would anyone have a part number for the washer?
  9. Quick question mydoddy69, as you bought from tower how does your warranty work in the UK?
  10. Haven't touched any of my rc cars in about 6/7 months, charged 2 batteries that were left fully charged today (2 x 3s batteries) all cells charged to 4.20 and my flux xl ran great
  11. Plenty of mt4 g3's on ebay
  12. Looking a bit of help for shells to fit the flux xl, I've the gigante at the moment but it's very thin is there a proline shell that fits?
  13. What rear tyres would you recommend on the firestorm? My original rears are baldy so looking a new set, I like the original tyres but would like to buy them pre mounted which I can't find. Is there any other tyre that works well that you can buy premounted?
  14. Basically half price. I got an email from Amain.com saying they had a sale, they also sent me a discount coupon. As I was looking at the mm2 in the uk and it's around
  15. Sweet!!! I've just picked this up, didn't really need it but a deal I couldn't refuse
  16. Tug what 1717 motor are you getting, castle?
  17. Mine has been running good on 6s from I fitted a castle creations bec. I had to put in a new servo as the kraton servo never worked from the start. The servo or speed controllers bec could be were the problems lie with the kraton
  18. I have them on my flux xl, had them over a year and never had a problem
  19. Lol I still think the same, new esc and servo and I should be fine,I was expecting a bit of run time before anything happened instead of none
  20. Lol I still think the same, new esc and servo and I should be fine,I was expecting a bit of run time before anything happened instead of none
  21. Even tho I've bought a kraton I do agree with doddy, it should run 6s as that is their selling point. I do think the kraton can be a great truck once the problems are fixed. I don't mind putting a bit of money into it as I do with all my rc's. If the esc and servo get replaced under warranty that's great. I haven't read anything that suggests the plastics are worse than other companies so that would leave bearings which are a cheap fix and longer springs at the back
  22. I've a few cars that have blew servo's ie mt4 g3 twice, savage flux xl once. We all upgrade our cars to hopefully run 6s no problems and bash proof and I'm sure the kraton with upgrades will be awesome. But arrma should of made it handle the power of 6s if that's what they are gonna advertise on the box
