Hi, recently i have heard a very horrible thought of clicking noise coming from my car whenever it meets any kind of resistance, anyone know what this means and how i can fix it? it has only happened in the last couple of runs, and has been very noticeable when it hits a patch of long grass or anything. thanks! I think it might be that i have a bent drive shaft, could that be possible?

It free wheels for about 1 or 2 seconds, nothing compared to my nitro bullet

i think i might have found the problem, the front differential is very full if grease and dirt, it also has been dented where the pins touch it, i would send a picture but i don't know how, do you think this is the problem?

Ok, thanks for all the help, i opened up the gear box and everything looked fine, the drive shaft has a bit of grass next to it, but i don't think that the problem, my car isn't waterproof, but i haven't been driving it in very wet conditions, do you think i should open up the engine and take a look?

it did last a bit longer going more gently, i haven't soldered anything, and the rest seem to be ok

ok, just tested, never hit full throttle and right near the end it just stopped again, waited for the engine to cool enough that i could rest my hand on it but it still wouldn't move. also when it's working and is stopped, the light on the ESC is off, however when it's not working the light on the ESC stays on, any ideas now?

ok i will take it for a gentle ride if it cuts out again i will check the engine

i don't think so, they feel fine. i have driven my car plenty of times, and it only started happening about 3 runs ago

the motor gets to hot to touch, but i don't know the exact temp i am using a 2s lipo battery

I have a mt maverick evo s and about 5 times per run, it will just randomly stop and won't move until i turn the car off and back on again, the steering still works though, it just won't move. Any help would be appreciated Speeeed

Hi, I just brought a brand new electric car and about a week later my speed control just melted, i have a dusty motors universal shroud on my car. it had already done about 10 runs fine with it, but after the first 30secs of driving it, it suddenly stopped and started smoking loads. Any ideas of why the speed control might have melted?, my car isn't water proof, i haven't driven it in two wet conditions, some damp grass thats it, i have also driven it in some very dusty conditions, and the dust got through the shroud into my car, could that be why? can i still use the shroud, or should i not?
