  2. Is this still available? If so would you be willing package to this up if I arranged a courier to pick it up? James
  3. Love this truck, so mean looking...has persuaded me to get a 5ive once funds allow now I've abandoned my baja build! If you choose to go for a penta shell let me know and I'll have the existing panels if they need a new home James
  4. List updated, have some spares and tools in the box to add too so either tonight or tomorrow I'll start a new thread and picture everything that's left James
  5. All PM's replied to, will update list once payments are received. James

  7. Sorry for the late reply guys, been away all weekend with no internet, looks like splitting will be the way forward, I will get some prices sorted tomorrow (probably can't post anything until I'm off next week though). James
  8. Sadly it doesn't look like I'm going to have the time or the funds to finish this as I'm in need of a cheap 1:1 runabout that takes priority over this project. Here's how the baja stands at the moment: I have built it from the ground up with some of the best parts available! Spec list is as follows: Innovative-RC enclosed chassis (black) Innovative-RC under chassis brace (black) Innovative-RC front upper plate (black) Innovative-RC hinge pins (full set, fronts fitted, rears will be included in sale) Innovative-RC screw kit (used to build this far, rest will be included to finish build, plus some spares) Innovative-RC full bearing kit (rubber shielded, front hub ones used, all others needed are included) Innovative-RC front arm brace, lower brace and front upper brace (all in black) Innovative-RC rear upper plate (not yet fitted) RPM front bumper RPM front upper and lower 'A' arms Fullkill HD quick release throttle linkage (BNIP, not yet fitted) Vertigo clipless front axles Vertigo extended rear hubs (to fit front axles) HPI rear hubs (again to fit front axles, these are the only used part included) Turtle Racing shock tower brace combo (black) GH front shock supports (black) GH rear shock supports (black, not fitted but included) HPI hubs carriers x3 (2 built up with bearings and fitted) Darksoul billet servo saver Threshold servo saver spring support HPI complete steering assembly HPI front bulkhead MR-M stainless steel steering arms GA Motorsport Teflon coating upper arm ends Swingy p shock limiting cables Think that's everything, there are a few other spares in the box but nothing major. Everything fitted so far has all been fitted with blue loctite where necessary. There are a few little bits that need sorting on what has been done so far, these are: - Shim hinge pins (only front lowers that really need doing, 2x M8 washers will do this) - Make or buy camber spacers for upper arm ends (again could be done with washers to make a 2mm and 4mm spacer for each side) - Shim front hubs to remove slop on the axles (have a link for the kit, only
  9. Cheers mate, found the same thing on eBay but those fast Eddie ones are much better!
  10. Cheers mate, I've got stock hubs to go on the vertigo extenders as well now and the play is the same, will look into the shims! If not an M12 washer will do the trick of they come thin enough...more research needed!
  11. Got some more bits done last night, but I'm out of bits to fit now RPM front bumper and IRC chassis brace now on: Front hub bolts swapped round to keep it looking cleaner from the front: Swingy P shock limiters fitted (1 is a touch long so I will have to get another lug and shorten the wire 2-3mm): How the baja stands now: Just need some washers to shim the front hubs, upper arm ends and hinge pins and I can start saving for the rear half! James
  12. I'll take the hexes if you'll post them? I'm not sure I'll get to bashfest, certainly won't be running anything if I do!
  13. Are the panels part of a kit or homemade? Is the bonnet part of the original shell or part of the panel kit? This thread is really making me want a losi now! But I've got a half(ish) built baja on my hands! :/
  14. Cheers mate, will add it to the list now. Yours is linked in the existing link so that's actually 2 for price of 1! James
  15. Got a bit more done tonight, had about an hour and a half on it, hoped to get a bit further than I did but didn't realise how fiddly the hubs are on your first attempt! This is how it stands at the moment (steering arms and upper arm rod ends need adjusting/setting up at some point but they are on for now so I could carry on! Mr-m steering arm and GM rod ends close up: Few bits I'm not happy with, first is just cosmetic but the hub bolts need swapping round so just the bolt heads are showing not the thread and nut: Next is the gap on the front lower hinge pins/arms, is this normal and ok or do I need to pack/shim it out? The upper arm has a gap of about 1mm which allows a bit of twisting is that acceptable or again needing shimming? Lastly for now are the clipless vertigo extenders, there's at least 1mm of movement between the hex and the bearing which I guess definitely shouldn't be there as the hex moves enough without a wheel on it and sat stationary?! Any help/advice is greatly appreciated! James
  16. I sent a message to Ultimate RC a week ago regarding some parts that I received incorrectly, but have heard nothing back (not surprised as I heard nothing the previous I messages them either), so I know they are currently being brought out by MMR, so I thought I'd try contacting MMR but their site has been down for over 24 hours now?! Maybe it's time to get a PayPal case opened to see if that opens up a line of communication?
  17. If you need to buy materials and/or tools to clean your plugs with isn't that kind of defeating the money saving objective? A new plug will almost definitely perform better than a cleaned one too, so is it worth all the time and hassle of cleaning them when really they are intended and priced to be a consumable item? They cost very little compared to everything else largescale! James
  18. If you get the measurements I'm sure mr-m (Keith) on the baja forum could knock up some spacers for your rose joints, his work is top notch and his prices are very reasonable!
