They look cool! What actualy makes a tc a tc? thats probably a silly question but im guessing its not just down to the shell you put on it lol. And if its not a tc but its still an on road car what does that make it? Danzul90

Thought i would share the pics from my first crash on here. After nearly two hours of fiddling, i finally got the car running. I decided to test it up and down the road to make sure it ran ok before going to tescos around the corner for the use of there car park. Unfortunatly there is also a building site round the back of my house which has led to a thin film of mud being laid on the road making the surface very slippery. After a few muintues of fun i came up the road and turned into the jucntion, as i turned in i got a major slide on! not wanting to hit the 2 inch deep muppy puddle i decided it was best to floor it again rather than keep off the throttle and let the car slow on its own finishing all wet. This made the car turn in more away from the puddle but it understeered terribly into the kerb!!!! Bugger.... more bothered that i scratched the new wheels i bought lol luckily there is no real damage, but the hard rubber like clip which holds the pin and bottom arm all in place must have compressed and pinged out into oblivion because i cant find it. would any one know the best place to find a new one? there are two of them, one at each end of the pin which holds the bottom arm on. I was wondering whether there might be some one in the market deeping/peterborough area who would kind enough to meet up and help me set my car up at some point? I had the car running when i first got it but only intermittantly, after which i went away for a while working, now i want to play with it again it can get it to start, at all! I have searched the forum and tried all sorts but i am only suceeding in confusing my self when something works but then I adjust something else and i am back to square one! I have the subaru shell, infact i ordered new wheels friday and they arrived this afternoon, they look awesome lol. Thanks for telling me what it is, i take it this is one of the more powerfull ones then? What sort of speeds will it do? and is there any way of telling which it is by looking at the engine itself? Ok so, i have just stripped my suspension to clean the car, and have noticed the dampers dont re-extend them selves! They return about 3/4 of the way then stop, obviously the springs will push them the rest of the way but surely they should return on there own? there are no obvious leaks however. Hi folks, I have a Thunder tigre tomohawk VX, i am assuming there must be some sort of regular service to keep up with much like a normal road car? thinks like diff oil? can some one please tell me if this is so, which oil to use and how regular, i would assume after each use nearly? I live in Market Deeping which is next to Peterborough. I found a club in peterborough which i think is meeting this saturday so im going to try and make that one but it is electric only. i also found on in grantham but i think they are off road only.

That puts my mind at rest! The purchase was spontanious, although i have always had an interest, i have never reserached into r/cs as i only now have a decent income to afford one. I have read post refering to .18, .19 and .21 as in your post, i assume this refers to the engine size and there for power and speed? I am still trying to get over just how much adjustment can be made to the car and the detail in which it is built with! i feel like i may as well be driving a propper race car! it certainly keeps me entertained while my project (real) car is taking shape.

I have already raised the body, it was sat that low when i first got it for the pictures as i thought it look cool with that stance! as for plans, im not sure yet, what options are there? I like the idea of racing but am struggling to find any where near by that allows nitro on road/touring cars and i cant afford to get my self an electric car. i want to get used to it first, i noticed a big difference with the new springs and shocks being softer. then who knows, i need to improve my knowledge on them firstly i think that would be a good start! lol I forgot to mention i also now have adustable toe arms

I wil also try that later, im gonna strip and clean it today. are there many service parts on it? like diff oil etc? im guessing there must be, if so how to i check the level and what oil should i use. Many thanks in advance. Danzul90

Hi, this is mine, I have not had it long and am very much a newbie, however, soon after getting it home, i aquiered and fitted softer spings, dampers, and wheels.
