  5. Hi guys, I cant decide on which one to buy. First off Im not using it for racing, what I am looking for is something that is solid, fast and preferably RTR. If you have any of the above I would appreciate if you could list its strenghts and weaknesses (eg.JUMPING,DURABILITY).
  6. yes sorry, when I pick the car up the revs rise and the wheels spin really fast but when I put it on the floor it doesnt go anywhere. Also... when its off the floor and I press the throttle the revs decrease and stalls. and no sorry I havent even done the break in yet as today is the first time I have used it.
  7. Hi guys, Ive got a hyper 8 rtr and I have read the instructions and started it ok BUT.......... when I press on the throttle it stalls when sat on the ground, if I hold it in the air and dont press anything the engine goes CRAZY then stalls. Today is my first time using it. I probably sound so stupid but this is my first nitro car and I would appreciate any help.

    Hyper 8

I have bought a hyper 8 and I have a question regarding the reciever. There is a component to add 4 batteries but I have been sent a Modelsport UK 6v hump pack. Do I disconnect and remove the battery component and replace with the hump pack, because it is very hard to fit in the box. This probably sounds like a stupid question but hey I am a new to this. Any help would be appreciated.
  9. I went to modelsport today to exchange my Hyper 7 TQ .28 RTR for a Hyper 8 RTR and I cant wait till christmas so I can start using it. Does anybody have a Hyper 8 RTR? If so......... Any comments!
  10. I thought 20% aswell but modelsport advised otherwise, I was only thinking of exchanging it because a lot of people have said that it goes through fuel like anything. A lot of people have also said that the Hyper 7 .21 8 port or hyper 8 is better than this. I havent opened it yet as it is for christmas! I am sorry if I am asking stupid questions, I am a newbie to this and I am just relying on advice from the experienced.
  11. Sorry, just need to know about fuel consumption as tommorrow is the last day I can go to modelsport as going away for christmas.
  12. I have got a Hyper 7 TQ .28 for christmas but after reading through this forum for hours I have some concerns and I am thinking I should return it. One thing is the Servo which I could replace so not a major issue. The other is the Fuel, now I have bought 5 litres of 16% fuel, How long would this last as a lot of people have been saying this Hyper 7 drinks it quickly. Now I am not racing and will probably end up using it a lot over rough terrain doing jumps etc. so I have been thinking of getting a Revo but I am speed freak aswell. If not maybe just downgrade engine and keep hyper 7, but is there a big difference in fuel consumption? Any advice would be appreciated
